Montclair, NJ (April 25)- In its final regular season match of the year, the FDU-Florham Men's Golf team played a friendly match against the Montclair State Club team score the match as wins against head-to-heads equals one point, while tied scored are half a point, resulting in FDU-Florham winning 5.5 to 2.5 over the Red Hawks.
At the top of the leader board for the Devils was
Connor Dillon (Waldwick, NJ) who won his match and a point for the Devils with a total score of 74.
Aiden Markey (East Hanover, NJ) was close behind with a 77 but he lost his match to a Red Hawk.
The Devils who was the first to total his match for 80 was
Mario Lamperti (Parsippany, NJ), who also won his match.
James Zingaro (Stratford, NJ) and
Anthony Bilotta (Cedar Grove, NJ) both shot a 81 and won their matches to claim the needed points for FDU.
Ryan Mylod (Oak Ridge, NJ) was the final win of the day for the Devils as his round ended with a 92, leaving
Jason Florencio (Old Bridge, NJ) as the final Devil on the course with a 99.
FDU-Florham now looks to the 2025 MAC Freedom Championships starting on Saturday, May 3 for its next round.
