Annville, Pa. (March 17)- The FDU-Florham Women's Golf Team took to the Lebanon Valley Spring Invitational for its first match of the official 2025 season and swung for a team performance of being tied for eighth out of ten teams, with a 464 score.
It was Millersville who won the invitational as they totaled a score of 346 for 58 over par. Next was Hood with a 388 score of 100 over par and East Stroudsburg closed the top three finishes with a 391 score and 103 over par.
The first Devil to be seen in the standings was
Dominique Rodriguez (Pittsgrove, NJ) as she placed 30
th with a score of 109 (+37). In back-to-back placements,
Kylie Miralles (Jefferson, NJ) and
Shannon Flatt (Ho-Ho-Kus) took 36th (117, +45) and 37th (118, +46) overall as one point separated them.
FDU-Florham had two additional golfers on the course as
Lily Hodgson (Forked River, NJ) and
Emma Letizia (North Haledon, NJ) both finished in the top 45. Hodgson tied for 40th overall with 120 (+48) and Letizia closed the day on the green for the Devils with a 122 (+50) score and a tied placement of 42nd.
