Warminster, Pa. (April 16)- Despite having the top two individual finishers in the match, the FDU-Florham men's golf team fell to Delaware Valley, 315-330 in dual match action on Tuesday afternoon.
Aidan Newman (Gainsville, Fla.) was the top individual golfer on the afternoon, shooting under 80 for the third straight outing with a score of 75 (+4). He was closely followed by
Connor Dillon (Waldwick, N.J.) who scored a 76 (+5) to finish second overall.
Connor Flanagan finished his round with a score of 89 (+18) for a tenth overall finish followed by
Joseph Carney (Garwood, N.J.) who took a massive 24 strokes off his last outing to shoot a 90 (+19) that was the eleventh best score among the field.
Rounding it out for the Devils were
Vincent Ferrigno (Marlboro, N.J.), Ryan Mylod (Oak Ridge, N.J.) and
Joseph O'Leary (Washington, N.J.) who claimed the 13
th, 14
th and 15
th spots on the leaderboard. Ferrigno finished with a score of 94 (+23), Mylod shot a 98 (+27) and O'Leary recorded a score of 100 (+29).
FDU-Florham will compete in their last regular season match as they compete in the DeSales Bulldogs Spring Classic at Olde Homestead Golf Club on Tuesday, April 23.
