Reading, Pa. (April 14)- The FDU-Florham women's golf team competed against King's College and Wilkes University this weekend on both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday was played at Wyoming Valley Golf Course in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. Sunday was played at Stone Hedge Golf Course in Scranton, Pa.
Saturday's event was a tri-match between the three teams where FDU finished second behind Wilkes and in front of King's with an overall score of 397. On Sunday, it was a dual match between them and Wilkes where they were bested, 414-447.
Erica Blackburn (Marlboro, NJ) shot the low score of the weekend with a 92 on Saturday. She came back on Sunday and finished with a mark of 113.
Emma Letizia (North Haledon, N.J.) shot the highest score on Saturday with a 108 but came back and had the team-low score of 110 on Sunday.
Julianna Polanco (Marlboro, N.J.) shot a career-low 97 during Saturday's Tri-match. She came back on Sunday and compiled a score of 113.
Dominique Rodriguez (Pittsgrove, N.J) scored a 100 during Saturday's tri-match and came back on Sunday with a score of 117 while
Shannon Flatt (Ho-Ho-Kus, N.J.) only competed during Sunday's dual match where she shot a 111.
FDU-Florham will be back on the green on Sunday, April 21 as they take on Misericordia at Irem Golf Course in Dallas, Pa.
