Location: Madison, NJ: Robert T. Shields Field
FDU Goal Scorers: Daniella Conanan (1)

The match started with the Devils looking like the better team, outshooting the Bobcats 6-1 in the first 20 minutes of the game. After that, the teams traded shots, but both goalkeepers held firm, and by the end of the first half, the score was 0-0.

Pitt-Greensburg struck early in the second half to put the Devils on the backfoot. First, at 46:10, a shot by a Bobcat was saved by the goalkeeper, but the ball bounced out to another Pitt-Greensburg player, who shot a looping ball into the top right corner of the net to give the Bobcats a 1-0 lead. Not even three minutes later, at 48:53, a corner kick was punched away by the goalkeeper, but very similarly the ball bounced to a Bobcat, who shot it in bottom left corner of the net to extend Pitt-Greensburg's lead to 2-0.

The Devils fought back though, and at 54:32, Madison Kleinwaks (Boonton,NJ) kicked a corner kick that was saved by the keeper, but like the other two goals, the ball snuck to another offensive player, this time from Daniella Conanan (Hazlet, NJ), who struck the ball into the net to cut the lead in half. Unfortunately, even though they added a few more shots, the Devils could not put another goal on the score sheet, and they were knocked out of the ECAC Playoffs by Pitt-Greenburg in the first round.

Ava Gianni (North Brunswick, NJ) performed well in the net for the Devils, saving three shots. The match was close as, FDU barely held the edge in shots taken (19-15) and shots on goal (7-5). Both teams were even on corner kicks (4-4), while Pitt-Greensburg were the more aggressive team, earning more fouls (7-6).
