Madison, NJ. (April 11) – The FDU-Florham baseball team (7-20) dropped its non-conference matchup to Old Westbury, 8-2 on Tuesday afternoon.
The Panthers took a 2-0 lead early in the top of the first inning on a two-rbi double to right center. The Devils cut the lead to one on a sacrifice fly by

Mark Geist (Middlesex, NJ) but the Panthers answered back with three runs in the top of the second to hold a 5-1 edge.
A bases-loaded hit by pitch scored a run for the Devils in the bottom of the second but the team could not find a run for the rest of the conference while Old Westbury once again put up three unanswered runs scattered across four innings to take the 8-2 victory.
Jake Stollar (Flemington, NJ) suffered the defeat as the starter allowing two earned runs and three hits at the beginning of the contest.
