Franklin, NJ (April 12) – The FDU-Florham men's golf team capped its regular season with a 345-373 win over William Paterson University this afternoon at Black Bear Golf Club. This marks the second time this year that the Devils have defeated the Pioneers in a dual match.
 
Vinny Dasaro (Vernon, NJ) highlighted the effort for the Devils as he carded an 81 with birdies on the 535-yard, par five, sixth hole and the 255-yard, par four, 15th hole. Connor Wiedeman (Colts Neck, NJ) notched an 85 with a birdie on the 420-yard, par four, ninth hole as he hit a 7-iron from 180 feet out to within two feet of the pin.
 
Aidan Newman (Gainesville, Fla.) registered a career-low score of 89 with a birdie on the 396-yard, par four, fourth hole after he hit an 8-iron from 160-yards out to within four feet of the pin. Austin Whiteman (Parsippany, NJ) carded a career-best score of 90 to round out the countable scores for the Devils.
 
Jesse Thompson (Warwick, NY) was FDU's fifth golfer and notched a score of 91 on the day.

The Devils will now prepare for the MAC Freedom Championship, which will take place on Saturday, April 23 and Sunday April 24 at Huntsville Golf Club in Dallas, Pa.
