Milton, NY (September 26) – The FDU-Florham men's cross country team competed at the Mount Saint Mary's Cross Country Series Race No. 2 this afternoon. With only two student-athletes competing, the Devils did not register a score as a team.
 
Sophomore Victor Sayde (Ridgefield, NJ) crossed the line 53rd overall in the field of 135 student-athletes with a time of 33:20.3, while senior Tyler Moreira (Clark, NJ) finished 124th overall in 53:04.7.

The 8k race featured a number of Division III teams from across different regions as well as a number of Division II teams. The Coast Guard Academy finished first overall with 55 points, Merchant Marine finished second with 56 points and Monroe College finished third with 64 points.
 
FDU will return to the course on Saturday, October 9 at the DeSales Invitational. This invitational will give the Devils a chance to preview the course where they will run the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championship meet at the end of October.
