HOBOKEN, NJ (April 18, 2021)- FDU Baseball traveled to Stevens Tech on Sunday afternoon for the final double header of their MAC Freedom series, falling to the Ducks, 5-4 and 13-0.

DJ Gonnelli started on the hill for the Devils.

Nate Peacock started the game off with a single, the 100
th hit of his career. Over his last 2 and a half seasons, including a covid shortened 2020, Peacock has roped 85 hits. From there, senior

AJ Yurista capitalized with an RBI single. The Ducks got on the board in the bottom of the second taking a 2-1 lead. After a scoreless fourth inning from first year

Sean Wodell reached on an error, stole second and scored on a dropped fly ball off the bat of Peacock, tying the game at two apiece. Stevens immediately bounced back with a solo homerun over the short porch to increase their lead to 3-2.

In the top of the sixth after a Moore single, Nodoro parked his first homer of the year to give FDU the 4-3 advantage. Stevens had the response, a two-run homerun in the bottom of the sixth to regain a one run lead. The Devils couldn't capitalize with two runners on in the seventh, falling 5-4.

FDU's offense collected six hits with two coming off the bat of Peacock and one apiece for senior
Michael Tufano, Moore, Nodoro and Yurista.

Sophomore
Anthony Molina-Porras started on the mound for FDU. Molina threw 3.0 innings and gave up one run and two hits.

Moore led the way for the Devils offense with two doubles, Nodoro picked up a hit and Wodell collected the first hit of his collegiate career.
