Franklin, NJ (October 6) – For the third time this fall, FDU-Florham men's golf sophomore
Vinny Dasaro (Vernon, NJ) medaled as he produced a career low score of 76 (+4) in today's 339-364 win over William Paterson University. FDU's 339 today marked a season low round for the Devils.
Dasaro guided the Devils with his score of 76 as he started his day with a birdie on the 369-yard par 4, first hole. He made back-to-back birdies on the 255-yard par 4, 15th hole and the 480-yard par 5, 16th hole as he produced a back nine score of 35 (-1).
In second for FDU was
Brad Fetner (Livingston, NJ), who tallied a career low score of 81 (+9). Fetner chipped in to birdie the 154-yard par 3, 14th hole and finished his back nine with a score of 37 (+1).
Connor Wiedeman (Colts Neck, NJ) also registered a career low score with an 86 (+14) as he finished third for FDU and fourth overall in the field of ten student-athletes. Wiedeman finished his round with five straight pars on holes 14 through 18.
Ryan Mylod (Oak Ridge, NJ) and
Brian Nichols (Roxbury, NJ) rounded out FDU's five golfers today with their scores of 96 (+24) and 101 (+29), respectively.
The Devils will round out their fall schedule on Monday, October 11 at the Muhlenberg Fall Invitational.
