Madison, NJ (October 12) – The FDU-Florham men's cross country team hosted its first meet in program this afternoon and competed in the Battle of Madison Avenue against Drew University and Saint Elizabeth.
With only eight runners entered in the meet, no team scores were awarded. The course spanned just over two miles.
Drew's Shawn Corcoran took home the individual title with a time of 12:13.8. Right behind him was FDU sophomore
Louis Torres (Wenonah, NJ) in second in 13:11.7. Graduate student
Dakota Carfello (Pequannock, NJ) finished fourth overall in 15:04.5, while senior
Tim Raff (Jackson, NJ) finished sixth in 15:59.1 and senior
Tyler Moreira (Clark, NJ) finished seventh in 16:42.1.
FDU will now prepare for the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championship which is slated to take place on Saturday, October 30 at 11:00 am on the campus of DeSales University.
