COACHES THOUGHTS
"You never want to pick specific reasons as to why games go a certain way, but looking at our team, we had five freshman starting and it was a high level first game. We were excited and ready for today, but our poor play early on effected us later in the game. The hope is the experience our young players had tonight will help them grow, and the good thing is we don't have to sit on this loss because we return tomorrow and have a chance for a fresh start against St. Joseph's Long Island. Our players are excited to get back on the field and take steps forward. I'm extremely happy and excited for the leadership team we have and how us as a group, and our freshman, responded from the first to second half."Â
