BUCKINGHAM, Pa. (April 24, 2019) – Junior Thomas Apostolico carded an 84 to lead the FDU-Florham men's golf team past Delaware Valley University 348-368 Tuesday afternoon.

The Devils notched the top three lowest scores on the day, as the match was held at Lookaway Golf Club. Apostolico was one shot better than rookie Brian Leckie, who notched an 85. Just two shots behind him in a tie for third place was fellow freshman Robert Tighe. Tighe tied with the Aggies Tyler Woytas with an 87.

Junior Zachary Eckert carded a 92, while the Aggies had golfers finish with a 92 and 93 respectively. Freshman Ben Tetzlaff closed out the Devils quintet with a 93. Apostolico and Tighe each shot their second-lowest round of the season, while Eckert notched a season-low in just his second competition of the season. 

UP NEXT
The Devils will compete in the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom Championship Saturday and Sunday. The two-day championship will be held at Mountain Laurel Golf Club in White Haven, Pa.
