FLEMINGTON, N.J. (March 26, 2019) - Junior
Jonathan Biale delivered a two-run to right center in the top of the 10th innings to lead the FDU-Florham baseball team to a 9-6 win over Centenary Tuesday.
The Devils improve to 6-10 on the season with the Cyclones dropping to 5-11.
FDU drew first blood, as Biale's one-out double in the top of the first plated sophomore
Matt Nodoro who had reached on a fielder's choice. Sophomore
Jonathan Weitzman got the start for the Devils and held the Cyclones off the board in each of his four innings. The third inning was his best, as he retired the side 1-2-3.

Kevin Smiegocki stroked a one-out double to left-center. The junior came around to score on an RBI knock through the right side by sophomore
Joe Moskowitz. Sophomore
Joseph Buser relieved Weitzman after one batter in the fifth and got three of the first four guys he faced out. Moskowitz added to his RBI total in the top of the sixth, lofting a sacrifice fly to left that scored senior

Centenary got a run back in the sixth before adding three in the seventh to take a 4-3 lead. Senior
Will Lapham came in with two down in the seventh and a runner on first but induced a fly ball to centerfield to end the inning. With the Devils playing from behind, they put up three runs in the eighth starting with a solo home run by Moskowitz. Sophomore
AJ Yurista was walked, and pinch-runner
Billy Podurgiel swiped second. Podugiel came around to score an error on a ball hit by sophomore

Lapham allowed just a walk in the bottom of eighth and the Devils were unable to add to their lead in ninth. FDU struck two of the first four hitters in the bottom of the ninth, but runners remained on first and second. The Cyclones would force extra innings, as a double to right center allowed both runners to score to level the game at six.
