DALLAS, Pa. (October 1, 2019) – The FDU men's golf team knocked off host Misericordia University 335-391 in a dual match on Tuesday afternoon.

The contest was played at the par-72, 6,366 yard Irem Country Club. The Devils extended their winning streak to three matches and move to 3-1 on the year as Misericordia dropped to 0-6.

FDU recorded four of the five lowest scores on the day en route to the 56 stroke victory. Junior Sean Provost took first after notching an 81. The 81 was two off of his season-low and featured a birdie on the tough 16th hole. Rookie Theodore Nam had his best round of the season, finishing second with an 82. He took eight shots off his previous best this season and picked up a birdie on the 11th hole.

Senior Thomas Apostolico was third with an 85, with sophomore Ben Tetzlaff recording an 87. Tetzlaff matched his season-low round, which came against William Paterson University on September 9. After the Cougars placed a golfer in fifth with a 90, senior Thomas Cashin closed out the Devils golfers by shooting a 91.

The Devils are back in action next Monday, competing in the Muhlenberg Invitational which will be held at Lehigh Country Club in Allentown Pa. The team gets underway with a 12:30 tee-time.
