EWING, NJ -- The Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham women's soccer team dropped a hard-fought game to No. 16 The College of New Jersey, 3-0, on Wednesday, Sept. 21 at Lions' Stadium.
The Devils fell to 3-4-2 in the setback and the Lions improved to 4-0-1.

Annie George made a commanding 10 saves but the Devils struggled to put pressure on the Lions.
TCNJ's Christine Levering wasted no time, scoring the game-winner just 1:34 into the game.
Levering struck again just about six minutes later with her second goal of the night to make it 2-0 at the half.
The Lions continued to pounce in the second half with 14 shots and were rewarded once again for their pressure when Kayla Bertolino found the net in the 76th minute to cap off the game, 3-0.
FDU-Florham's best opportunity in the night came off a shot from
Justine Fernandez, but her effort was thartwed by TCNJ goalie Jessica Weeder.
The Devils return to action on Saturday, Sept. 24 against Lycoming College in Williamsports, Pa. at 4 p.m.
