FULL RESULTS

FLANDERS, N.J. -- The Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham women's golf team dropped its opening match of the 2016-17 season to Eastern University on Friday afternoon at Flanders Valley Golf Club.

The Eagles outshot the Devils 367-491 in the opening match of the campaign.

Sophomore standout Brooke Sherwin paced the Devils with a 100 on the day, while Eastern's Jaclyn D'Angelo carded the best round of the afternoon by shooting an 86 (+14). The Eagles carded the top four rounds of the day with Sherwin topping the Devils in fifth place.

Lauren Geiger came in second for FDU-Florham with a round of 112 (+40). 

The Devils return to action on Friday, October 7 when they travel to Misericordia University for their second of three matches this fall.
