DALLAS, Pa. – The FDU-Florham women's golf team was outdueled by Misericordia University 494-513 on Thursday afternoon at Irem Temple Country Club.
FDU-Florham junior
Jordan Durham (Wildomar, Calif.) carded the best round of the day, finishing 11 strokes better than the next golfer. Durham, who was the 2013 Freedom Conference Golfer of the Year, shot an 89(+17) to take medalist honors.
Misericordia's
Darian Reimer and
Alexe Rice finished second and third by shooting 100 (+28) and 113 (+43) respectively.
FDU-Florham's
Lauren Geiger (East Brunswick, N.J.) registered the fourth best round by carding a 132 (+60) on the afternoon.
The Devils have one last tune-up before the MAC Championships, which take place during the weekend of April 25. FDU-Florham takes on Manhattanville College, Monday April 20 at Sunset Valley in Pompton Plains, N.J.
