Nick Meoli (East Meadow, N.Y.) led off the second with a single down the left field line before a walk and hit batsman led to a bases loaded opportunity for the Devils but Wallace escaped by retiring the next two batters in order.
DeSales took advantage of another Devils' error in the bottom of the inning and picked up two more runs on one hit.

Christopher Franco (Wayne, N.J.) with a sacrifice fly.
The Bulldogs added another tally in the fifth, four in the sixth, and three more runs in the seventh, while Wallace held the Devils' offense quiet.
FDU-Florham banked three runs in the ninth but it was too little too late. Meoli continued his torrid stretch with a 2-for-3 effort, including two walks and a run scored, while Franco finished 1-for-2 with a run before being lifted for a pinch hitter.

Drew Borger led the offensive outburst for the Bulldogs by going 3-for-5 with three RBI and two runs, while
Carrington Santana finished 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs in the win.
Freshman right-hander
Kenny Carrier (Freehold, N.J.) took the loss for the Devils and dropped to 1-2 on the campaign. Carrier went 3.1 innings, allowed 10 runs (3 earned), while striking out one.
