Devils Stun Scarlet Raiders With Second Half Outburst

Box Score NEWARK, N.J.—Three unanswered goals in the final 35 minutes by the FDU-Florham Devils women's soccer team (6-7,0-1 MAC), provided them with a come-from-behind victory, defeating the Rutgers-Newark Scarlet Raiders (3-8-1) 3-2 on Wednesday night.

Trailing 2-0 in the 56th minute, Devils senior forward Samantha Messina (Landing, N.J./Roxbury) ignited the comeback when she scored the team's first goal of the night. Sixteen minutes later, freshman midfielder Brittni Calleo (Bayville, N.J./Central Regional) evened the score when she drove home an assist from Jennifer DiGioia (Roxbury, N.J./Roxbury/CCM) for her third goal of the season.
