Box Score DALLAS, PA - The College at Florham Devils were defeated in their 2012 Freedom Conference opener by Misericordia, 3-0, on Saturday evening.

With the loss, the Devils dropped to 2-9 (0-1 Freedom) while the Cougars improved to 8-1-1 (1-0 Freedom).

Misericordia got on the board at the 21:12 mark and made it 2-0 just 0:28 seconds later.  FDU recovered and kept it at 2-0 throughout the rest of the first half but the Cougars added their third and final goal 6:44 into the second stanza. 

Freshman goalkeeper Anna Bandly suffered the loss, making 12 saves.

The Devils return to action on Wednesday, October 3, 2012, at home against Rutgers-Newark beginning at 7 pm.
