Michelle Hickey also notched two goals.
With the win, the Devils improved to 1-5.
Hickey got things started just 3:05 into the game when she converted a feed from junior defender
Colleen Furbeck. Donohue made it 2-0 at the 11:10 mark when she knocked home a pass from junior midfielder
Jennifer DiGioia before the pair connected again only 0:50 later to give FDU a 3-0 lead. The Devils grabbed a 4-0 advantage in the 38th minute when Hickey scored off a pass from junior forward
Samantha Messina and FDU closed out the scoring 4:46 before intermission when sophomore midfielder
Kim Overland found the back of the net off a pass from Donohue.
FDU dominated in all facets of the game, holding a 37-1 advantage in shots and an 11-0 edge in corner kicks. Freshman goalkeeper
Anna Bandly earned her first collegiate victory in goal.
The Devils return to action on Tuesday, September 18, 2012, at home against Alvernia beginning at 7 pm.
