NEWARK, NJ - The College at Florham Devils were defeated by Rutgers-Newark, 2-1, in non-conference action on Wednesday evening.
With the loss, the Devils dropped to 5-8.
All three goals of the game were scored in the first half and FDU got on the board first, at the 27:27 mark, when senior midfielder
Kim Campfield converted a pass from sophomore forward
Claire Donohue. Newark tied it at 1-1 just five minutes later before scoring the game-winner with 6:56 left in the half. Both squads had opportunities in the second half but couldn't find the back of the net.

Lauren Albrecht suffered the loss, making seven saves.
The Devils return to action on Saturday, October 8, 2011, at Wilkes beginning at 4 pm.
