ST. DAVIDS, PA - In a battle of two of the top teams in the Freedom Conference, the College at Florham Devils were knocked off by Eastern, 2-0, on Tuesday afternoon.

With the loss, the Devils dropped to 7-9-1 (3-1-1 Freedom) while the Eagles improved to 8-5-2 (4-1 Freedom).

Eastern got on the board just 9:03 into the game but after that the Devils settled down and get the score the same through the remainder of the first half.  FDU kept within striking distance for the majority of the second half until the Eagles netted an insurance goal with 3:16 left in the game.  Eastern held a 14-1 edge in shots and a 7-3 advantage in corner kicks.

Senior goalkeeper Lauren Albrecht suffered the loss, making five saves.

The Devils return to action on Saturday, October 22, 2011, at home for Senior Day against Misericordia beginning at 11 am.
