MADISON, NJ - Senior forward Lora Fink (Hamilton Square, NJ/Pennington Prep) knocked home a penalty kick with 5:29 left in overtime to give the College at Florham Devils a 1-0 win over Manhattanville in Freedom Conference action on Tuesday evening.

With the win, the Devils improved to 11-4-2 (4-0-1 Freedom) while the Valiants dropped to 2-12-1 (2-2-1 Freedom). In addition, FDU's next win or tie in conference play will lock up a spot in the upcoming Freedom Conference Tournament.

The Devils dominated the game statistically, as they held a 20-5 advantage in shots, but couldn't find the back of the net until Fink was fouled in the box and hit the lower left corner for the game-winner.

Junior goalkeeper Melanie Pierson (Brookside, NJ/Mendham) made four saves to earn the shutout.

The Devils return to action on Saturday, October 23, 2010, at Misericordia beginning at 1 pm.
