DOYLESTOWN, PA - The College at Florham Devils got a goal early in the second half to beat Delaware Valley, 1-0, in Freedom Conference action on Wednesday afternoon.

With the win, the Devils improved to 10-4-1 (3-0 Freedom) while the Aggies dropped to 4-9-1 (1-2 Freedom).

The lone goal of the contest came five minutes into the second stanza when freshman midfielder Michelle Hickey (Burlington, NJ/Burlington Twp.) converted a feed from senior forward Brittany Kanickij (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert).  FDU controlled most of the game, holding a 15-5 edge in shots, but could only net the one goal.  It was good enough however, as junior goalkeeper Melanie Pierson (Brookside, NJ/Mendham) made four saves in net to earn the win.

The Devils return to action on Saturday, October 16, 2010, at home against Wilkes beginning at 1:30 pm.
