HACKETTSTOWN, NJ - The College at Florham Devils were defeated by Centenary, 3-0, on the first day of the Centenary Tournament on Saturday afternoon.
With the loss, the Devils dropped to 0-2.
Centenary jumped out to a 1-0 lead just 9:17 into the game and the Cyclones made it 2-0 with 15:29 left in the first half. They then put the game away with an insurance goal to make it 3-0 in the 57th minute.

Lauren Albrecht (Marlton, NJ/Cherokee) started and played the first half, allowing two goals while making three saves. Sophomore goalkeeper
Melanie Pierson (Brookside, NJ/Mendham) played the second half, giving up one goal and stopping four shots.
The Devils return to action on Sunday, September 6, 2009, in the Centenary Tournament against Lebanon Valley beginning at 1 pm.
