MADISON, NJ - Junior forward Lora Fink (Hamilton Square, NJ/Pennington Prep) had two goals and an assist while junior forward Brittany Kanickij (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) also had two goals as the College at Florham Devils beat King's, 6-0, on Saturday morning in Freedom Conference action.

With the win, the Devils improved to 7-8-2 (2-2-1 Freedom) while the Monarchs dropped to 4-13 (0-6 Freedom).

The Devils got on the board at the 19:59 mark when freshman midfielder Ashley Vieira (Red Bank, NJ/Red Bank Regional) converted a penalty kick.  The remainder of the first half went scoreless but Fink found the back of the net for a 2-0 lead just 3:40 into the second stanza.  Fink assisted Kanickij to make it 3-0 1:30 later before scoring again herself to make it 4-0 at the 65:35 mark.  Kanickij added another goal in the 70th minute to make it 5-0 and freshman midfielder Michelle Felix (Newark, NJ/Mother Seton) scored at the 76:00 mark to round out the scoring.

Sophomore goalkeeper Lauren Albrecht (Marlton, NJ/Cherokee) earned the shutout win, making three saves.

The Devils return to action on Tuesday, October 27, 2009, at cross-town rival Drew beginning at 7 pm.
