Adrienne Carr enters her 16th season at the helm of the FDU-Florham Women's Lacrosse program.

In August 2018, Carr was named the Senior Women's Adminstrator after previously serving as an Associate Director of Athletics within the department.

2018 saw the Devils sweep all four major conference awards, with Carr gaining her third straight MAC Freedom Coach of the Year. Megan Nemeth and Noelle Shirey were selected IWLCA First Team All-Boardwalk Region while Nina Shirey and Kathleen Petrucelli gained Second Team honors.

The Devils have won four straight MAC Freedom Championships, and have advanced to the NCAA Second Round in 2015, 2016 and 2017. Carr earned her 150th career win in 2017.

Under Carr, the Devils have seen their greatest success, setting school records for wins in a season (17 in 2015 and 2017) and have advanced to the MAC Tournament every year since 2007. In 2008, FDU-Florham had the best season in school history as they won the MAC Championship and received a bid to the NCAA Tournament. In 2006 and 2010, Carr led the Devils to ECAC Championships.

During the 2007, 2009, 2010, and 2011 seasons, she guided the Devils to both the MAC and ECAC Tournaments.  In 2012, she led the Devils to the first-ever Freedom Conference Tournament Championship.

Prior to coming to FDU-Florham, Carr spent one year coaching lacrosse at North Brunswick High School where she served as the assistant varsity coach and head junior varsity coach.

She starred collegiately at Rutgers University, playing both lacrosse and field hockey for the Scarlet Knights. A pre- and post-season All-Big East field hockey player as a senior in 2001, Carr helped the team to the Big East Tournament Semifinals in 2000 and 2001.

She currently resides in Annandale with her husband, Mike, daughters Amelia and Tess, and son Colin.
