Freshman guard Steve Herdman has emerged as one of the top scorers for the FDU-Florham men’s basketball team this season. Last Wednesday, he scored a team-high 19 points and connected on four 3-pointers in a close game against Manhattanville University. On Saturday, February 14, he helped lead the Devils to their first win since November 22 by scoring a career-high 21 points on 7-of-11 shooting. Herdman went 3-for-7 from beyond the arc and was perfect from the free throw line in the game. He also brought down four rebounds and dished out five assists without turning the ball over. The freshman guard has brought up his scoring average with his recent hot shooting and now ranks third on the team in scoring with 10.6 points per game.
