Senior Kyra Dayon has had a prolific career in a Devils uniform. This past week she helped propel the FDU-Florham women’s basketball team to two Freedom Conference victories. On Thursday, January 29, Dayon shot 7-of-12 from the floor for 18 points while also reeling in nine rebounds and dishing out six assists in a 104-91 win over the Manhattanville Valiants. Two days later, the Devils played in front of the home crowd and Dayon recorded her second double-double of the season with 16 points and 12 boards in a 90-56 victory against the Misericordia Cougars. To add to her already impressive game, she also had a season-high six steals and three blocks. The reigning Freedom Conference Player of the Year has been nothing short of spectacular this season, using her versatility and leadership abilities on the floor to help the Devils during their current 52-game winning streak.
