At the helm of the No. 1-ranked FDU-Florham women’s basketball team is standout sophomore guard, Alyssa McDonough. Last Wednesday in Doylestown, Pa., McDonough scored 15 points while also grabbing six rebounds and dishing out 4 assists as FDU-Florham cruised past Delaware Valley College. On Saturday, the Devils returned to the Ferguson Recreation Center for a matchup against Wilkes University and McDonough put forth a stellar performance in front of the home crowd. With 18 points, seven assists and three rebounds, McDonough helped lead the Devils to their 50th straight victory. McDonough has been a key center piece for the top-ranked Devils. She is an all-around guard who can score with efficiency in a multitude of ways. She is currently third on the team in scoring with 11.6 points per game.
