Senior guard Leigh-Ann Lively shot the lights out of the gym this past week, burying 17 3-point shots in three games to help the No. 1-ranked FDU-Florham women’s basketball team capture three impressive wins. In the D3Hoops.com Classic, Lively tied her career-high with 26 points while also setting a school record with her seven made 3-pointers against the University of Wisconsin Platteville. Just a few days later, in the NYU Holiday Classic against William Smith College, Lively took the floor again and became the Devils all-time leader in 3-pointers made after making four 3-point shots. However, she was not done yet. The Devils closed out the week coasting to a 108-64 victory over Swarthmore College, a game where Lively scored 19 points while hitting six 3-pointers and picking up four steals. She finished the week with 59 points, six rebounds and six steals in three games. Lively currently leads the top-ranked Devils in scoring with 12.9 points per game and will look to add to her impressive 3-point shooting totals as the team enters conference play.Â
