Senior guard Kevin Furlong pieced together two great scoring performances this past week for the FDU-Florham men’s basketball team. In the Battle of Madison Ave against Drew, Furlong shot 6-of-14 from the field for a team-high 16 points while also bringing down three rebounds. Furlong then came out and played 40 minutes against a skilled William Paterson team on Saturday and facilitated the Devils offense effectively against a heavy full court press. Even though the Devils were defeated 81-72 by the Pioneers, Furlong had success shooting 6-of-12 from the field while dishing out five assists. Furlong has now scored in double digits in eight of the nine games he played in. He currently leads the Devils in scoring on the season with 15.2 points per game.
