Sophomore forward Kim Davis was named First Team All-Freedom Conference on Thursday, November 6 after a tremendous season for the FDU-Florham field hockey team. Davis played an integral role for the Devils during their Freedom Conference Championship run this past week. She was responsible for the Devils first goal in the Freedom Conference Championship game last Saturday after burying a penalty shot in the first half against Misericordia. Davis also assisted senior Niki Ikeda for what turned out to be the game-winning goal for the Devils, clinching the team’s first trip to the NCAA Tournament since 1986. She has displayed great playmaking abilities for the Devils this season by netting a team-high 12 goals and 10 assists.
