The 2011 MAC Freedom Player of the Year, Matt was named First Team All-MAC Freedom as an outfielder. Career wise, is second in RBI’s (143), fifth in hits (193), and fourth in both home runs (17) and batting average (.385).

On the single season list, Matt sits third in batting average (.438), RBI’s (51) and walks (33), fourth in hits (64) and fifth in triples (5). With 86, Matt stands as the FDU career leader in walks. Matt was selected as the Team MVP in both 2009 and 2011. Matt was named to the Third Team All-American in 2011.
