Kristin Spohn - Head Coach
Kristin Spohn enters her second year at the helm of the women's soccer program.
In her first season with the Devils , Spohn guided the team to their first ever Freedom Conference Regular Season Championship with an undefeated record (6-0-1) in conference play. The Devils also reached the Freedom Conference Finals and the ECAC South Region Championship game. Spohn coached four All-Conference players and led the Devils to a school record 14 win season in 2006.
Prior to coming to FDU, Spohn spent one year as the head coach at New Jersey City University and three years as an assistant coach at her alma mater, Monmouth University.
A 2001 graduate of Monmouth, Spohn was a two-time First Team All-Conference goalkeeper for the Hawks. In 1999 and 2000, Spohn helped the Hawks earn back-to-back Northeast Conference Regular Season Championships. As a junior she finished the year allowed only 13 goals in 1,633 minutes played. She also posted 90 saves and a 0.72 goals against average, ranking her 14th in the nation in the final NCAA Division I poll. After her collegiate career ended, Spohn spent one year with the NJ Lady Stallions of the Women’s Professional League. Spohn holds a National ‘D’ License and is currently a Goalkeeper Coach for the NJ Girls Olympic Development Program.
She currently resides in Eatontown, NJ

Ken Masuhr - Assistant Coach
Ken Masuhr enters his first season on the Devils' coaching staff.
Masuhr comes to FDU from Kean where he was an assistant with the men's soccer program for two years. He also received his Master's Degree from Kean in Public Administration. Masuhr played two seasons at Richard Stockton, earning All-Conference and All-Region honors while also helping the Ospreys to two conference championships and one appearance in the NCAA Elite 8. He graduated with a B.S. in Pyschology.
Masuhr has coached at some of the highest levels in New Jersey, including the ODP program and the WPSL. He also holds a Premier Diploma, the highest current national diploma offered at this time by the NSCAA, and is also accredited with US Soccer coaching schools.
