About the program

The Fall Season

The Fall season begins in mid August with the beginning of preseason training. Intense preseason workouts set the tone for the upcoming season. The team is expected to be physically fit and sharp on the first day of camp, so that this time can be used as a tune-up for the demanding schedule.

The Freedom Conference

The Devils are members of the NCAA Division III and compete in the Freedom Conference. The membership is made up of small colleges and universities from New Jersey and Pennsylvania. FDU competes in the Freedom Conference along with Allentown (Desales) College, Delaware Valley College, King's College, University of Scranton, and Wilkes University. The Devils round out their eighteen game schedule by competing against other Division III schools within the region.Opportunities for post-season play include the MAC Championships, the ECAC Championships, and the NCAA Championships.

The Spring Season

The Spring semester gives our players the opportunity to improve their strength, fitness, and technical ability while strengthening the bonds that tie the team together off the field. The Devils practice on the field regularly while also building their strength in the weight room. In addition, the team competes in a number of games and tournaments during the second semester.
