ALL-CONFERENCE ANNVILLE,
PA – Sophomore Megan Koenig
(Jobstown, NJ/North Burlington Regional) was named Second Team All-Freedom
Conference on Wednesday morning. On
the season, Koenig was 2-3 at fourth singles and 1-2 at third singles but
carried a 2-2 record at second singles.

NJ – The College at Florham Devils defeated St. Elizabeth, 7-2, on Monday afternoon
in non-conference action to pick up their first win of the season. With
the win, the Devils improved to 1-6 on the year. Double-winners
for the Devils included sophomore Leslee Johnson
(Darnestown, MD/Northwest) at first singles and sophomore Megan Koenig (Jobstown, NJ/North Burlington Regional) at
second singles. The two also
combined to win first doubles.

FREEDOM SECOND TEAM ANNVILLE,
PA - Freshmen Amanda Granville (Hawley,
PA/Wallenpanpack Area) and Jill Horn (Narbeth, PA/William Penn Charter) have been named second team
All-Freedom Conference on Thursday morning. The
two freshmen led the Devils to the brink of the playoffs, but tiebreakers
kept the Devils from competing in the postseason. Horn
was 8-1 playing in second singles, winning her first seven matches of the
season, with her lone loss coming in the second-to-last match of the
season. She was also 7-2 playing
in first doubles for the Devils, winning her first five decisions before a
loss. On
the season, Granville played mostly third and fourth singles and finished
with a record of 10-2. She won
her first eight singles matches in a row before losing a three-set
heartbreaker. October

two matches but it wasn’t enough as the College at Florham Devils lost to
DeSales, 5-4, on Tuesday afternoon. The
loss drop the Devils to 0-3 overall and 0-2 in the Freedom Conference Koenig
won fifth singles 7-5, 6-1 while Horn won sixth singles 6-0, 6-0 and the two
combined to win third doubles 8-3.
