November 8, 2007 TWO DEVILS NAMED SECOND TEAM ALL-CONFERENCEANNVILLE,
PA - Freshman forward Brittany Kanickij (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) and freshman midfielder Lora Fink (Hamilton, NJ/Pennington) were named Second
Team All-Freedom Conference on Thursday morning. Kanickij
led the team in goals (13) and points (28) while starting every game for the
Devils. In the conference, she
ranks fourth in shots, third in points, second in points per game, second in
goals and second in goals per game. Fink
led the team in assists with eight which tied her for third all-time on the
FDU single-season assists list.
She also put in four goals this season, tying her for third on the
squad. In the conference, she
ranks seventh in shots, tied for seventh in points, eighth in points per game
and first in both assists and assists per game. October 28, 2007 DEVILS ELMINATED FROM CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT WITH DELAWARE VALLEY TIEMADISON, NJ Š The
College at Florham Devils were eliminated from the upcoming Freedom
Conference Tournament by virtue of a tie between Delaware Valley and
Manhattanville on Sunday afternoon.
With the tie, Delaware Valley will be the fourth seed because of a
head-to-head win over FDU earlier in the season. The Devils end their
season with a record of 7-11 (2-4 Freedom). October 27, 2007 DEVILS BLANK KINGÕS, 7-0MADISON, NJ Š The
College at Florham Devils got goals from five different players as the routed
KingÕs, 7-0, in Freedom Conference action on Senior Day on Saturday
afternoon. With the win, the
Devils improved to 7-11 (2-4 Freedom) and will wait to see if Delaware Valley
wins its game tomorrow to see if they will continue their season. If Delaware Valley loses, the Devils
will be the fourth seed in the upcoming Freedom Conference Tournament. FDU started the
scoring just 0:43 into the game when freshman forward Missy Setzer (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton) scored thanks to
assists from senior midfielder Lena Kalika (Green Brook, NJ/Watchung Hills) and freshman
forward Lora Fink
(Hamilton, NJ/Pennington School).
Setzer scored again in the fifth minute off a feed from Fink to give
the Devils a 2-0 lead and freshman forward Brittany Kanickij (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) scored a minute later
off assists from Fink and junior forward Megan Sweeney (Staten Island, NY/Notre Dame) to give FDU a
3-0 lead. Sweeney scored at the
10:57 mark off a pass from senior midfielder Jordan Fornari (Cleveland, OH/Laurel School) to put the
Devils ahead, 4-0. The Devils got goals
in the second half from Fink, Kanickij and sophomore defender Elise McEvoy (Wantage, NJ/High Point Regional). FDU held a 28-5 edge in shots for the

picked up the shutout win by making five saves. October 24, 2007 DEVILS DOWNED BY ARCADIA, 3-0GLENSIDE, PA Š The College
at Florham Devils were knocked off by Arcadia, 3-0, in Freedom Conference
action on Wednesday afternoon. With the loss, the
Devils dropped to 6-11 (1-4 Freedom). Arcadia scored all
three of their goals in a twelve minute span late in the first half and held
on in the second half to earn the victory. Arcadia held an 18-9 edge in shots on the Devils. Junior goalkeeper Amanda

action on Saturday, October 27, 2007, at home against KingÕs for Senior Day
beginning at 1 pm on the turf. October 22, 2007 DEVILS BLANK ST. ELIZABETH, 7-0PARSIPPANY, NJ Š The
College at Florham Devils beat the College of St. Elizabeth, 7-0, on Monday
afternoon in non-conference action. With the win, the
Devils improved to 6-10. Freshman forward Lora
Fink (Hamilton, NJ/Pennington
School) had a goal and an assist while freshman forward Missy Setzer (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton) had two assists. FDU got goals from seven different

action on Wednesday, October 24, 2007, at Arcadia beginning at 3:30 pm. October 20, 2007 DEVILS KNOCKED OFF BY DELAWARE VALLEY, 4-1MADISON, NJ Š The
College at Florham Devils were knocked off by Delaware Valley, 4-1, on
Saturday afternoon in Freedom Conference action. With the loss, the
Devils dropped to 5-10 (1-3 Freedom). Delaware Valley jumped
out to a 1-0 lead just 3:58 into the game but the Devils came back to tie the
game at 1-1 on a goal by junior forward Megan Sweeney (Staten Island, NY/Notre Dame) in the 25th
minute. Sweeney was assisted by
freshman midfielder Lora Fink
(Hamilton, NJ/Pennington School).
The Aggies took a 2-1 lead at the 32:22 mark and then a 3-1 lead just
three minutes into the second half.
Delaware Valley added an insurance goal with three minutes left in the

action on Monday, October 22, 2007, against St. Elizabeth at Smith Field in
Parsippany beginning at 3:30 pm. October 17, 2007 MANHATTANVILLE SCORES THREE SECOND HALF GOALS TO BEAT FDU, 4-1PURCHASE, NY Š The
College at Florham Devils were defeated by Manhattanville, 4-1, on Wednesday
evening in Freedom Conference action. With the loss, the
Devils dropped to 5-9 (1-2 Freedom). The Valiants got on
the board first, taking a 1-0 lead at the 26:34 mark. FDU came back six minutes later and
tied it up when freshman forward Brittany Kanickij (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) converted a pass from
sophomore defender Elise McEvoy
(Wantage, NJ/High Point Regional).
The score stayed tied at halftime, but Manhattanville scored six
minutes after the break to take a 2-1 lead. The Valiants then made it 3-1 in the 71st

DESALES, 2-1 (2OT) MADISON, NJ Š Freshman
forward Brittany Kanickij
(Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) scored two goals, including the game-winner 5:53 into
the second overtime, as the College at Florham Devils knocked off DeSales by
a score of 2-1 (2OT) on Saturday afternoon. With the win, the
Devils improved to 5-8 (1-1 Freedom). After a scoreless
first half, the Bulldogs got on the board first at the 59:24 mark. The Devils came right back though as
Kanickij tied it at 1-1 just three minutes later. Kanickij then provided the heroics in the second overtime,
converting a pass from junior forward Megan Sweeney (Staten Island, NY/Notre Dame). Junior goalkeeper Amanda

on Wednesday, October 17, 2007, at Manhattanville beginning at 7 pm. October 6, 2007 DEVILS KNOCKED OFF BY WILKES, 5-0EDWARDSVILLE, PA Š The
College at Florham Devils were defeated by Wilkes, 5-0, in the Freedom
Conference opener for both teams on Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the
Devils dropped to 4-8 (0-1 Freedom). The Colonels started
the scoring at the 10:34 mark but the Devils held strong and went into
halftime trailing by the same score.
Wilkes opened the second half strong, scoring two goals in the first
ten minutes to take a 3-0 lead and then added two insurance goals late in the
game. Wilkes held a 21-5 edge in

made her first career start in goal and made eight saves. The Devils return to

noon. October 3, 2007 DEVILS FALL TO RICHARD STOCKTON, 3-0MADISON, NJ Š The
College at Florham Devils fell to Richard Stockton, 3-0, in non-conference
action on Wednesday evening. With the loss, the
Devils dropped to 4-7. After a scoreless
first half, the Ospreys erupted for three goals in an eight-minute span at
the beginning of the second half to earn the victory. Stockton held a 25-10 advantage in

The College at Florham Devils were knocked off by Elizabethtown, 2-0, on
Saturday afternoon in non-conference action. With the loss, the
Devils dropped to 4-6 on the season. The Blue Jays started
the scoring at the 18:33 mark of the first half and then made it 2-0 in the
74th minute.
Elizabethtown held a 16-1 edge in shots and an 11-1 advantage in

College at Florham Devils were defeated by Widener, 8-2, in non-conference
action on Wednesday evening. With the loss, the
Devils dropped to 4-5. Widener scored the
first four goals of the game before freshman forward Lora Fink (Hamilton, NJ/Pennington School) scored off a
pass from senior midfielder Lena Kalika (Green Brook, NJ/Watchung Hills) to make it 4-1 at halftime. Two minutes into the second half, the
Devils cut it to 4-2 on a goal by junior forward Megan Sweeney (Staten Island, NY/Notre Dame). The Pride however, scored the next

pm. September 22, 2007 DEVILS LOSE IN DOUBLE OVERTIME TO WILLIAM PATERSON, 1-0MADISON, NJ Š The
College at Florham Devils lost a double overtime thriller to William
Paterson, 1-0, in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the
Devils dropped to 4-4. Each team had a few
chances to score in regulation but it wasnÕt until the 4:15 into the second
overtime that the Pioneers converted the game-winner. The Devils actually held a 15-8
advantage in shots and a 10-3 edge in corner kicks. Junior goalkeeper Amanda

College at Florham Devils were defeated by St. JosephÕs (L.I.), 3-0, on
Tuesday afternoon in non-conference action. With the loss, the
Devils dropped to 4-3 on the season. The Eagles got on the
board at the 21:39 mark on a goal by sophomore forward Angie Merante (Holtsville, NY/Sachem), who scored all three
Eagle goals. Eight minutes
later, Merante made it 2-0 and then in the 66th minute she

College at Florham Devils to a 5-0 win over Marywood on Saturday afternoon. With the win, the
Devils improved to 4-2. Junior forward Megan

NY/Notre Dame) started things off at the 29:14 mark when she converted a pass
from Kanickij. The scored stayed
that way until Kanickij scored off a pass from freshman forward Lora Fink (Hamilton, NJ/Pennington School) in the 64th
minute to give the Devils a 2-0 lead.
Four minutes later, senior midfielder Lena Kalika (Green Brook, NJ/Watchung Hills) scored the
first of her two goals off a feed from Kanickij to put FDU up 3-0. Kalika scored in the 76th
minute off an assist from Fink and Kanickij scored three minutes later to

College at Florham Devils were defeated by Ramapo, 3-0, on Wednesday
afternoon in non-conference action. With the loss, the
Devils dropped to 3-2 on the season. Ramapo jumped out to a
1-0 lead at the 24:12 mark, and the increased it to 2-0 just 0:58 before the
half. The Roadrunners would add
an insurance goal in the 54th minute to make it 3-0. Junior goalie Amanda

1 pm. September 10, 2007 KANICKIJ NAMED FREEDOM CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEKANNVILLE,
PA - Freshman forward Brittany Kanickij (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) was named Freedom Conference Player of
the Week on Monday afternoon after leading the Devils to a 2-1 week. She
started the week on Tuesday against the College of Staten Island by scoring
two goals in a 3-0 win. Then in
the DevilsÕ home opener on Thursday against Mt. St. Vincent, she scored two more
goals in a 6-1 win. On Saturday
against Kean, she scored the lone goal in a 3-1 defeat that was FDUÕs first
loss of the season. On the season, she
leads the team with five goals and 10 points. September 8, 2007 DEVILS DOWNED BY KEAN, 3-1MADISON, NJ Š The
College at Florham Devils suffered their first loss of the season, a 3-1
defeat to Kean on Saturday morning in non-conference action. With the loss, the
Devils dropped to 3-1 on the season. Kean scored the first
two goals of the game before freshman forward Brittany Kanickij (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) connected off a pass
from senior midfielder Lena Kalika (Green Brook, NJ/Watchung Hills) to cut the deficit to 2-1 in the
65th minute. The
Devils had chances to pull even but in the 78th minute Kean added

College at Florham Devils to a 6-1 win over Mt. St. Vincent on Thursday
evening. With the win, the
Devils are now 3-0. Freshman forward Lora

School) started the scoring 30 minutes into the game when she converted a
pass from Root. Kanickij
followed three minutes later unassisted to make it 2-0 and Kalika scored a
minute after that on another assist by Root to put the Devils up 3-0 going
into halftime. Kalika started the
scoring in the second half at the 56:38 mark when she converted another pass
from Root. Kanickij made the
score 5-0 two minutes later off an assist from junior forward Megan
Sweeney (Staten Island,
NY/Notre Dame). The Dolphins cut
it to 5-1 before Root scored off a pass from Fink with three minutes left in

Devils improved to 2-0 on the season. Sweeney started the

defender Kathleen Rivera
(Lawrenceville, NJ/Lawrenceville) and senior midfielder Kate Daly (South River, NJ/South River) were named to
the d3kicks.com Mid Atlantic All-Region Team. Rivera was named to the First Team while Daly was a Third
Team selection. Rivera was a four-time
All-Freedom Conference selection.
This season, she helped anchor a defense that was fourth in the
conference in goals against average.
She also chipped in an assist on the season and is first All-Time in
career assists. Daly is a three-time
All-Freedom Conference choice.
She was second on the team in goals (8) and tied for second in points
(17). Her eight goals ranked her
seventh in the conference and her three game-winners tied her for fourth. November 12, 2006 DEVILS FALL TO GETTYSBURG, 1-0, IN ECAC TITLE GAMENEW
WILMINGTON, PA - Gettysburg got a goal with 14:44 left to play in regulation
to beat the College at Florham Devils, 1-0, in the Championship Game of the
ECAC South Region Tournament on Sunday afternoon. With
the loss, the Devils end their season with a record of 14-7-2. Kathryn Poster took a pass from Steph

afternoon. With the win, the
Devils improved to 14-6-2 and advance to the finals of the ECAC South Region
where they will take on Gettysburg on Sunday at 1 pm. Daly got the Devils on
the board at the 59:40 mark after a scoreless first half. Daly knocked home a pass from Sweeney

NJ - The College at Florham Devils rallied from a 1-0 deficit to beat
Catholic, 2-1, in the Quarterfinals of the ECAC South Region WomenÕs Soccer
Tournament on Thursday afternoon.
The Devils will now wait for an opponent to be determined at a
location to be determined. With
the win, the Devils improved to 13-6-2 while Catholic ended the season at
11-8-1. Sophomore

(Nanuet, NY/Albertus Magnus) put the Cardinals up, 1-0, when she knocked in a
corner kick pass from sophomore midfielder Elyse Bellardini (Wayne, NJ/Wayne Valley) just 5:20 into the

PA - Senior defender Kathleen Rivera (Lawrenceville, NJ/Lawrenceville) was named First Team All-Freedom
Conference while senior midfielders Kate Daly (South River, NJ/South River) and Laura
Verzi (Delran, NJ/Delran) and
sophomore forward Megan Sweeney
(Staten Island, NY/Notre Dame) were named to the Second Team on Thursday
morning. For
Rivera, this is the fourth time she has been an All-Freedom Conference
selection. This season, she
helped anchor a defense that was fourth in the conference in goals against
average. She also chipped in an
assist on the season. This
is DalyÕs third All-Conference selection. She was second on the team in goals (8) and tied for
second in points (17). Her eight
goals ranked her seventh in the conference and her three game-winners tied her
for fourth. Verzi
garnered her first All-Conference honor. She was named Conference Player of the Week for the week
of October 16. Verzi was third
on the team in goals (6) and tied for second in assists (5) and points
(17). Her five assists tied her
for sixth in the conference. Sweeney earned
All-Conference for the first time after being named Conference Player of the
Week for the week of October 9.
Sweeney led the team in goals (9) and points (23) while being tied for
second in assists (5). In the conference
she ranks fourth in shots, tied for fourth in points, tied for fifth in
goals, tied for sixth in assists and tied for fourth in game-winning goals. November 4, 2006 FRESHMEN LEAD SCRANTON TO FREEDOM CONFERENCE TITLEMADISON,
NJ - Freshmen defender Beth Stephens (Pottstown, PA/Owen J. Roberts) and forward Eileen Sodano (Moscow, PA/North Pocono) each scored a goal
to lift Scranton to a 2-1 win over the College at Florham to win the Freedom
Conference WomenÕs Soccer Championship on Saturday afternoon. With
the win, the Royals improved to 12-6-2 while the Devils dropped to
12-6-2. Junior midfielder Laura
Gibbons (Monroe Twp.,
NJ/Monroe Twp.) was named the Tournament MVP. Stephens
got things started at the 16:06 mark when she dropped a free kick right over
the out-stretched hand of Devils senior goalkeeper Melissa Braun (Sayreville, NJ/Sayreville). Scranton
took the 1-0 lead into halftime and just two minutes into the second half,
Sodano increased the lead to 2-0. FDU
would battle back though and cut the deficit to 2-1 at the 70:00 mark on a
goal by junior midfielder Lena Kalika (Green Brook, NJ/Watchung Hills). The Devils would have a chance to tie the game with under
2:00 left to play but a shot by senior midfielder Kate Daly (South River, NJ/South River) clanged off the
post. Scranton will move on
to play in the Division III NCAA Championships while the Devils will wait to

the win, the Devils improved to 12-5-2 and will play host to No. 2 seed
Scranton in the Freedom Conference Finals on Saturday, November 1, at 11 am. FDU
got on the board first when junior midfielder Jordan Fornari (Cleveland, OH/Laurel School) converted a
corner kick from senior midfielder Laura Verzi (Delran, NJ/Delran). After
trailing 1-0 at halftime, DeSales scored two goals in a span of 0:27 to take
a 2-1 lead just 3:33 into the second half. Sophomore midfielder Nicole Pietrobon (Allentown, PA/Allentown Central Catholic)
scored the first goal and sophomore forward Dana Eustace (Highland Lakes, NJ/Vernon Township) put the
Bulldogs ahead. Five
minutes later, Sweeney scored off a pass from Fornari to tie the game at
2-2. The Bulldogs went back

on a free kick to tie the game once again. The game looked to be

Florham Devils were defeated by Susquehanna, 3-2 (2OT), on Senior Day on
Saturday afternoon in womenÕs soccer action. The loss dropped the
Devils to 10-5-2 on the season. The Crusaders took a
2-0 lead before sophomore forward Megan Sweeney (Staten Island, NY/Notre Dame) cut the deficit
to 2-1 just 2:44 before halftime. Things looked bleak
for the Devils until junior midfielder Lena Kalika (Green Brook, NJ/Watchung Hills) found

Soccer Player of the Week on Monday after leading the Devils to their first
ever win over Scranton on Saturday afternoon. In
that game, Verzi score game-winner in the 40th minute to give the
Devils the win and sole possession of first place in the Freedom
Conference. Earlier in the week
on Wednesday, she notched a goal and an assist to lead the Devils past
non-conference foe Widener. On the season, Verzi
has five goals and three assists for 13 points. She has also helped the Devils to a No. 9 ranking in the

NJ - The College at Florham Devils beat Scranton for the first time in school

half as the Devils held the Royals to just two shots in the game. With

FDU-Florham (7-4-1) in a women's soccer game tonight. The Ospreys posted their second
consecutive shutout victory and ended FDU-Florham's five-game unbeaten
streak. Stockton goalkeeper Alex Rogers (Medford/Shawnee) needed just one save to
collect her fourth shutout of the season. Devils' goalie Melissa Braun (Sayreville/Sayreville) registered five saves
in the match. Stockton outshot FDU-Florham 7-1 in the first half but could not
capitalize and the contest was scoreless at intermission. In the second

(Gloucester Twp./Highland) served the ball into the box where Bean cut in
front of Braun and flicked a header into the net for her first career tally
