March 3, 2009 CERANKOWSKI NAMED SECOND TEAM ALL-CONFERENCE ANNVILLE, PA – Senior guard Emily Cerankowski (Easton, PA/Notre Dame) was named Second Team
All-Freedom Conference on Tuesday morning. Cerankowski led the team in points (16.0 ppg), three-point field
goals made (38) and three-point field goal percentage (.349). In the conference, she ranked eighth
in scoring (16.0 ppg), seventh in free throw percentage (.785), 12th
in steals (1.79 spg), seventh in three-point field goal percentage (.352) and
fifth in three-point field goals made (38). February 21, 2009 DEVILS FALL TO MANHATTANVILLE IN OVERTIME, 73-66 MADISON, NJ – Senior guard Emily Cerankowski (Easton, PA/Notre Dame) poured in 22 points in
her last game but it wasn’t enough as the College at Florham were
knocked off by Manhattanvile, 73-66, in overtime in Freedom Conference action
on Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Devils finished the season with a record of
11-14 (5-11 Freedom) while the Valiants improved to 16-9 (12-4 Freedom). The score was tied at 10-10 with 9:08 left in the first half when
the Valiants closed the half on an 18-9 run to grab a 28-19 lead going into
halftime. Manhattanville held a 32-21 just 1:40 into the second half but the
Devils ripped off a 17-6 run over the next seven minutes to tie the score at
38-38 with 11:47 left. Five
different Devils scored in the run.
The Valiants built their lead back up to seven, 57-50, with 2:06 to go
but the Devils closed the game on a 9-2 run, including two huge free throws
from freshman center Meghan Lentine (Hazlet, NJ/Raritan) with 0:09 to go, to tie the game at 59-59
and send it into overtime. Unfortunately for the Devils, it was all Manhattanville in the
extra session as the Valiants opened the overtime with a 14-4 run to grab a
73-63 lead with 0:27 left to play. Sophomore forward Shealyn Taggart (Atlantic Highlands, NJ/Middletown South)
notched 13 points and 11 rebounds while Lentine added nine points and a
game-high 14 boards. Junior

(Wind Gap, PA/Bethlehem Catholic) chipped in seven points and 10 rebounds. February 19, 2009 DEVILS TO RAISE BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MADISON, NJ – The College at Florham Devils will host the
first annual “Think Pink” day, where the Devils women’s
basketball team will help to raise money and awareness about breast cancer by
hosting a Women’s Basketball Coaches Association “Pink
Zone” event on Saturday, February 21, 2009, at the Ferguson Rec Center. The WBCA Pink Zone™ initiative, formerly known as
“Think Pink”, is a global, unified effort for the Women's
Basketball Coaches Association's nation of coaches to assist in raising
breast cancer awareness on the court, across campuses, in communities and
beyond. Over 120 schools
participated in the event in its first season of 2007, but last season saw
more than 1,200 teams and organizations reach over 830,000 fans and raise
over $930,000 for breast cancer awareness and research. This season, more than 1,250 schools, conference and sponsors have
already signed up to participate on the WBCA website, with hundreds more
expected to join in the coming weeks. The list includes institutions at every
level of NCAA competition, as well as NAIA schools, junior and community
colleges, high school and AAU teams. FDU will host a Pink Zone event during the team’s February
21 game at 1 p.m. against Manhattanville. Spectators will be asked to make a contribution to the
WBCA’s designated charity, the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund, to aid in the
fight against breast cancer. The
fund is named after the late head coach of the North Carolina State
University women’s basketball team, who passed away on January 24
following a 23-year battle with breast cancer. For the event, the Devils women’s team will don pink
t-shirts during warmups. February 17, 2009 DEVILS FALL TO ALVERNIA, 78-55 MADISON, NJ – The College at Florham Devils were knocked off
by Alvernia, 78-55, in Freedom Conference action on Tuesday evening. With the loss, the Devils dropped to 11-13 (5-10 Freedom) while
the Crusaders improved to 17-7 (11-4 Freedom). The Devils opened up a 17-12 advantage with 7:50 gone by in the
first half thanks to 11 points from senior guard Emily Cerankowski (Easton, PA/Notre Dame). The Crusaders responded with a 25-8
run to end the half, en route to a 37-25 lead at the break. Alvernia came out and put the game away in the first 8:30 of the
second half, as they exploded for a 25-9 run to take a 6-34 lead. The closest the Devils would get the
rest of the way was 19 points, 72-53, with 2:45 left in the contest. Cerankowski finished the game with 18 points while junior forward Danielle
Michlovsky (Wind Gap,
PA/Bethlehem Catholic) added 11 points and five rebounds. The Devils return to action on Saturday, February 21, 2009, at
home against Manhattanville in their season finale beginning at 1 pm. February 11, 2009 DEVILS FALL TO
MISERICORDIA, 59-46 DALLAS, PA – The College at Florham Devils were defeated by
Misericordia, 59-46, in Freedom Conference action on Wednesday evening. With the loss, the Devils dropped to 11-12 (5-9 Freedom) while the
Cougars improved to 12-10 (7-6 Freedom). The Cougars jumped out to a quick 8-0 lead with 2:20 gone by in
the first half but the Devils responded with a 12-3 run over the next nine
minutes to take a 12-11 advantage with 8:33 to play. It was back-and-forth action for the
rest of the half with the game being tied at 21-21 going into the break. FDU started quickly in the second half, opening up a 35-29 lead
with 12:41 left in the game. The
Cougars would respond right away though, embarking on a 20-4 run over the
next nine minutes to take a 49-39 advantage with 3:25 to go. The Devils were able to cut it to
five points on two occasions, the last coming with 1:09 remaining (51-46),
but the Cougars executed down the stretch and made their free throws to earn

against Alvernia beginning at 6 pm. February 7, 2009 DEVILS WIN SECOND STRAIGHT, 50-42, OVER WILKES MADISON, NJ – Sophomore forward Shealyn Taggart (Atlantic Highlands, NJ/Middletown South)
finished with 14 points and a game-high 12 rebounds to lead the College at
Florham Devils to a 50-42 win over Wilkes in Freedom Conference action on
Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Devils improved to 11-11 (5-8 Freedom) while the
Colonels dropped to 10-11 (5-8 Freedom). FDU came out strong to open the game, taking a 15-6 advantage with
11:50 left in the first half.
Senior guard Emily Cerankowski (Easton, PA/Notre Dame) had seven points in the opening
spurt. The Colonels fought right
back though, tying the score at 15-15 with 7:51 left but the Devils then
erupted for a 10- run over the next five minutes to take a 25-15 lead with
2:49 to go. Wilkes again fought
back as they got an old fashioned three-point play at the buzzer to cut the
FDU lead to 25-20 heading into hafltime. The Devils built their lead right back to 10 points, 32-22, just
3:47 into the second stanza but Wilkes came back to cut it to 34-29 with
13:30 to go in the game.
That’s when the Devils made their push for the win, going on a
12-3 run over the next eight minutes to grab a 46-32 advantage with 5:32
remaining thanks to six points from Taggart. The Colonels cut it to 48-40 with 1:03 left but FDU
knocked down their foul shots to earn to the 50-42 victory. Cerankowski finished with a game-high 15 points while junior
forward Courtney Young
(Bayonne, NJ/Bayonne) chipped in 11 points, four rebounds, four assists and
four steals. The Devils return to action on Wednesday, February 11, 2009, at
Misericordia beginning at 6 pm. February 4, 2009 HUGE SECOND HALF LEADS DEVILS TO ROAD WIN OVER DELAWARE
VALLEY, 68-61 DOYLESTOWN, PA – Four players scored in double figures, led
by 19 points and four steals from senior guard Emily Cerankowski (Easton, PA/Notre Dame), as the College at
Florham Devils knocked off Delaware Valley by a score of 68-61 in Freedom
Conference action on Wednesday evening. With the win, the Devils improved to 10-11 (4-8 Freedom) while the
Aggies dropped to 10-10 (4-7 Freedom). Delaware Valley started the game on fire, opening up a 27-10 lead
with 8:00 left in the first half.
That’s when the Devils started chipping away at the deficit,
cutting it to 36-26 at halftime thanks to seven points from junior forward Danielle
Michlovsky (Wind Gap,
PA/Bethlehem Catholic). The Devils were still down 10 points, 56-46, with 8:43 left to play
when they erupted for a 15-4 run over the next seven minutes to take a 61-60
advantage with 1:53 to go. Four
different players had at least three points in the run for FDU. With the game tied at 61-61, FDU
closed the game on a 7-0 run to come all the way back for the huge road
victory as Cerankowski hit four free throws down the stretch. Michlovsky finished with 17 points, six rebounds and five assists
while junior forward Courtney Young (Bayonne, NJ/Bayonne) chipped in 11 points, 12 rebounds and eight

against Wilkes on Alumni Day beginning at 1 pm. January 31, 2009 DEVILS DOWNED BY DESALES, 64-44 CENTER VALLEY, PA – The College at Florham Devils were
defeated by DeSales, 64-44, in Freedom Conference action on Saturday
afternoon. With the loss, the Devils dropped to 9-11 (3-8 Freedom) while the
Bulldogs improved to 16-2 (10-1 Freedom). DeSales led for almost the entire game as they took a 37-20
halftime lead and the closest the Devils would get in the second half was 17
points. Junior forward Courntey Young (Bayonne, NJ/Bayonne) led FDU with 18 points while freshman
center Megahn Lentine
(Hazlet, NJ/Raritan) and sophomore forward Shealyn Taggart (Atlantic Highlands, NJ/Middletown South) had

Delaware Valley beginning at 6 pm. January 29, 2009 MICHLOVSKY POWERS DEVILS TO 53-47 WIN OVER EASTERN MADISON, NJ – Junior forward Danielle Michlovsky (Wind Gap, PA/Bethlehem Catholic) finished
with 11 points and nine rebounds to lead the College at Florham Devils to a 53-47
win over Eastern in Freedom Conference action on Thursday evening. With the win, the Devils improved to 9-10 (3-7 Freedom) while the
Eagles dropped to 5-10 (2-8 Freedom). In a low-scoring first half, Eastern held a 17-11 advantage with
4:25 left to play in the opening stanza. FDU responded though by closing the half on a 10-4 run to
tie the game at 21-21 entering intermission. The Devils jumped out to a 30-25 lead with 3:10 gone by in the
second half but the Eagles came back to tie the game at 35-35 with 11:50 to
go. The score was tied at 44-44
with 3:47 to play when the Devils ended the game with a 9-3 run to secure the
win thanks to five points from junior forward Courtney Young (Bayonne, NJ/Bayonne) and four points from
senior guard Emily Cerankowki
(Easton, PA/Notre Dame). Cerankowski poured in 12 points and grabbed six rebounds while
Young chipped in 10 points.
Freshman center Meghan Lentine (Hazlet, NJ/Raritan) added seven points and nine boards. The Devils return to action on Saturday, January 31, 2009, at
DeSales beginning at 1 pm. January 24, 2009 DEVILS NIPPED BY KING’S, 59-58 WILKES-BARRE, PA -
Despite four players scoring in double figures, the College at Florham Devils
were edged by King’s, 59-58, in Freedom Conference action on Saturday
afternoon. With the loss, the
Devils dropped to 8-10 (2-7 Freedom) while the Monarchs improved to 7-11 (5-4
Freedom). King’s jumped
out to a 12-7 lead with 6:50 gone by in the first half when FDU went on a 9-0
run to grab a 16-12 lead with 9:32 to go. It was mostly back-and-forth the remainder of the half
with the Monarchs taking a three-point lead into halftime, 27-24. The Monarchs started
the second half strong, opening up a 48-34 lead with 11:48 left in the game
but the Devils didn’t quit as they exploded for a 17-3 run to tie the
game at 51-51 with 5:30 to go.
Senior guard Emily Cerankowski (Easton, PA/Notre Dame) had six points in the run. Each team had a lead on two separate
occasions before the game was tied at 57-57 with 1:37 to play. The Monarchs came down and drained a
jumper to take a 59-57 lead with 0:36 left but FDU came right back and drew a
foul to go to the line for two shots.
The Devils made one-of-two to cut it to 59-58 and they fouled King’s
with 0:04 remaining.
King’s kept it interesting by missing the free throw but the
Devils missed a three-quarter court heave at the buzzer allowing the Monarchs
to get the win. Cerankowski finished
with 13 points and nine rebounds while junior forward Danielle Michlovsky (Wind Gap, PA/Bethlehem Catholic) added 12
points, six rebounds and five assists.

DEFICIT TO BEAT FDU, 73-71 PURCHASE, NY – Freshman center Meghan Lentine (Hazlet, NJ/Raritan) recorded her first career
double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds but it wasn’t enough as
the College at Florham Devils were defeated by Manhattanville, 73-71, in
Freedom Conference action on Wednesday evening. With the loss, the Devils dropped to 8-9 (2-6 Freedom) while the
Valiants improved to 8-8 (5-3 Freedom). FDU jumped out to a 14-8 lead with 5:47 gone by in the first half
thanks to buckets from five different players. After the Valiants pulled to within 16-14, the Devils went
on an 18-7 run to grab a 34-21 advantage with 5:53 to go. Senior guard Emily Cerankowski (Easton, PA/Notre Dame) and freshman forward Matil
Mangual (Westbury, NY/Clark)
each had six points in the run.
FDU would enter the intermission with a 40-31 lead. With the Devils holding a 46-33 lead shortly into the second half,
Manhattanville embarked on a 24-5 run that saw them take a 57-51 lead with
9:46 left in the game. FDU cut
it to 57-55 but the Valiants responded immediately with a 7-1 run to get the
lead up to eight, 64-56, with 6:08 to go. The Devils kept fighting though, erupting for a 9-1 spurt
to tie the game at 65-65 with 2:21 to play. Manhattanville came down and connected on a three-pointer
on their next possession and then got a layup off an offensive rebound to
take a 71-66 advantage with 1:24 remaining. FDU cut it to one, 72-71, thanks to a layup from Lentine
with 0:08 and the Devils quickly fouled with the Valiants making one-of-two
from the foul line to take a 73-71.
The Devils had one last chance but missed a short jumper that
would’ve sent the game into overtime. Cerankowski finished with a game-high 18 points while Mangual
chipped in 14 points and five rebounds off the bench. Junior forward Danielle Michlovsky (Wind Gap, PA/Bethlehem Catholic) notched

King’s beginning at 1 pm. January 19, 2009 DEVILS EDGED BY EASTERN, 49-48 ST. DAVIDS, PA - The
College at Florham Devils were knocked off by Eastern, 49-48, in Freedom
Conference action on Monday evening. With the loss, the
Devils dropped to 8-8 (2-5 Freedom). The Devils got out to
an 11-8 lead with 13:02 remaining in the first half but the Eagles came back
to grab a 12-11 advantage with 10:47 to go. FDU responded with a 14-8 run over the next six minutes to
take a 25-20 lead with 4:15 to go.
Freshman forward Matil Mangual (Westbury, NY/Clark) had six points while senior guard Emily
Cerankowski (Easton, PA/Notre
Dame) added five points in the run.
Eastern would come back though, ending the half on a 9-0 run to take a
29-25 lead into halftime. Eastern held a lead
until there was 7:46 left in the game when the Devils tied it at 42-42. The game went back-and-forth down the
stretch with each team holding three one-point leads apiece. The Eagles scored the last bucket of
the game to take a 49-48 lead with 1:42 to play but the Devils missed two
free throws and two layups down the stretch that would’ve given them the
lead. Mangual came off the
bench to score a team-high 13 points to go along with nine rebounds while

Manhattanville beginning at 6 pm. January 17, 2009 DEVILS SNAP THREE-GAME LOSING SKID WITH WIN OVER
MISERICORDIA, 49-40 MADISON, NJ – Senior guard Emily Cerankowski (Easton, PA/Notre Dame) had 14 points and nine
rebounds to lead the College at Florham Devils to a 49-40 victory over
Misericordia in Freedom Conference action on Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Devils improved to 8-7 (2-4 Freedom) while the
Cougars dropped to 6-6 (3-3 Freedom). It was a back-and-forth affair for the entire first half with the
scoring being tired five times and neither team holding more than a
three-point lead. Trailing
16-14, the Devils got a three-pointer from junior forward Courtney Young (Bayonne, NJ/Bayonne) with 0:56 left in the
half to send FDU into the locker rooms with a 17-16 lead. With the score tied 19-19 with three minutes gone by in the
second, the Devils made their first big run of the day by ripping off a 17-6
spurt over the next seven minutes to take a 36-25 lead with 10:17 to go. Four different Devils scored in the
run. After the Cougars cut it to
36-32, FDU exploded for an 11-2 run to take a 47-34 lead with 1:09 left. It was pretty much over from there as
the Devils withstood a late Misericordia push to hold on for the win. Freshman forward Matil Mangual (Westbury, NY/Clark) came off the bench for
seven points, nine rebounds and three blocks while junior forward Danielle

Eastern beginning at 6 pm. January 14, 2009 DEVILS DOWNED BY ALVERNIA, 74-67 READING, PA – Despite a game-high 22 points from senior
guard Emily Cerankowski
(Easton, PA/Notre Dame), the College at Florham Devils were defeated by
Alvernia, 74-67, in Freedom Conference action on Wednesday evening. With the loss, the Devils dropped to 7-7 (1-4 Freedom) while the
Crusaders improved to 7-5 (4-2 Freedom). FDU opened up a 14-10 lead with 7:49 gone by in the first half
thanks to eight points from Cerankowski but the Crusaders responded with a
19-6 run over the next six minutes to grab a 29-20 lead with 6:37 to go. The Devils were able to whittle the
deficit to four, 34-29, heading into the intermission. With Alvernia leading 40-31 just 1:42 into the second stanza, the
Devils went on an 8-3 run to pull to within 43-39 with 14:25 left to
play. That’s when the
Crusaders made their game-winning push, embarking on a 16-6 run over the next
six minutes to take a 59-45 advantage with 8:37 left. FDU cut it to six, 59-53, with 5:34 remaining
but Alvernia got it right back up to twelve, 69-57, with 2:06 to go. The Devils made one last push,
cutting it to 70-65 with 1:06 to play thanks to seven points from junior
forward Danielle Michlovsky
(Wind Gap, PA/Bethlehem Catholic) but the Crusaders went 4-for-4 from the

against Misericordia beginning at 1 pm. January 10, 2008 DEVILS FALL TO WILKES, 67-52 WILKES-BARRE, PA – The College at Florham Devils were
knocked off by Wilkes, 67-52, on Saturday afternoon in Freedom Conference
action. With the loss, the Devils dropped to 7-6 (1-3 Freedom) while the
Colonels improved to 7-5 (2-3 Freedom). Wilkes came out hot to start the game, opening up a 14-4 lead with
6:17 gone by in the first half.
After FDU cut it to 17-10 with 9:51 to go, the Colonels ripped off a
9-0 run over the next four minutes to take a 26-10 lead on their way to a
31-19 halftime advantage. The Devils opened up the second half by closing the deficit to six
points, 33-27, with 15:49 left to play.
The Colonels responded with a 9-2 run to grab a 42-29 lead just two
minutes later. FDU once again
closed the gap to six, 49-43, with 7:19 to go thanks to six points from
junior forward Courtney Young
(Bayonne, NJ/Bayonne). The
Devils had the margin down to five points, 57-52, with 2:20 to play but that
was the last the Devils would score as Wilkes went 8-of-10 from the free
throw line down the stretch to secure the victory. Young finished the game with a team-high 16 points while junior

OVER FDU MADISON, NJ – Junior guard Kim Vennera (Norristown, PA/Kennedy-Kenrick) finished with
24 points and 11 rebounds to lead Delaware Valley to a 76-71 win over the
College at Florham Devils in Freedom Conference action on Wednesday evening. The Devils dropped to 7-5 (1-2 Freedom) while the Aggies improved
to 6-4 (2-1 Freedom). The Devils jumped out to a 16-11 lead with 8:46 gone by in the
first half thanks to five points from junior forward Courtney Young (Bayonne, NJ/Bayonne). After Delaware Valley cut it to 18-17
with 9:43 to go, FDU responded with a 14-0 run over the next three minutes to
grab a 32-17 advantage with 6:26 left.

Aggies went on another run, this time an 11-4 outburst, that tied the game at
45-45 with 13:49 left to play.
The game was tied at 51-51 when Delaware Valley made their move, going
on a 7-0 run to take a 58-51 lead with 8:44 remaining. The Aggies still had a seven-point
lead, 64-57, with 4:23 left when the Devils closed it to 64-62 with 2:24 left
to play. That was as close as
the Devils would get though, as they could never quite get over the hump with
Delaware Valley answering every FDU basket with a basket of their own. The Aggies also converted 6-of-9 from
the foul line down the stretch to help earn the win. Junior forward Danielle Michlovsky (Wind Gap, PA/Bethlehem Catholic) finished
with 17 points, a game-high 13 rebounds and five assists while Young had 12
points and nine boards.

Wilkes beginning at 1 pm. January 3, 2009 DEVILS KNOCKED OFF BY LYCOMING IN TOURNAMENT FINAL,
60-52 WILLIAMSPORT, PA – The College at Florham Devils were
defeated by Lycoming, 60-52, in the Championship Game of the Lycoming
Tournament on Saturday afternoon.
Junior forward Courtney Young (Bayonne, NJ/Bayonne) was named to the All-Tournament team. With the loss, the Devils dropped to 7-4. With the score tied at 4-4 just 3:15 into the game, the Devils
went on an 11-4 run to grab a 15-8 advantage with 7:42 left in the half. FDU would go on to increase their lead
to 20-12 at halftime. After five
quick points by junior forward Danielle Michlovsky (Wind Gap, PA/Bethlehem Catholic) to put the
Devils up 25-14, the Warriors ripped off a 14-3 run to tie the score at 28-28
with 11:07 left in the game. The
action would go back-and-forth until the game was tied at 36-36 with 6:29 to
go, when Lycoming reeled off a 20-11 run to take a 56-47 lead with 0:54
remaining. The Devils were able
to cut the deficit to five points, 57-52, but could get no closer as Lycoming
held on for the victory. Sophomore forward Shealyn Taggart (Atlantic Highlands, NJ/Middletown South) had

OVER ALBANY PHARMACY, 62-48 WILLIAMSPORT, PA - Junior forward Courntey Young (Bayonne, NJ/Bayonne) had 12 points and a
game-high 10 rebounds to lead the College at Florham Devils to a 62-48 win
over Albany Pharmacy in the First Round of the Lycoming Tournament on Friday
evening. With the win, the Devils improved to 7-3. The Devils jumped out to an 8-7 lead with 6:19 gone by in the
first half but Albany Pharmacy then went on a 10-0 run over the next 5:30 to
grab a 17-8 advantage with 8:19 to go.
FDU responded immediately though, closing the half with a 13-3 spurt
to take a 21-20 lead into the locker room. Five different Devils scored in the half-ending run. Holding a 30-27 lead with just 4:50 eclipsed in the second stanza,
FDU made their push to seal the victory by exploding for an 18-7 run to take
a 48-34 advantage with 6:06 left to play in the game. Freshman forward Matil Mangual (Westbury, NY/Clark) led the run with eight
points while Young chipped in six points. Albany Pharmacy made on last push, closing the gap to
51-43 with 1:42 remaining but the Devils ended the game by making 7-of-9 from
the free throw line to earn the win. Freshman guard Kate Benedit (Monmouth Beach, NJ/Shore) had a team-high 14 points to go along
with six assists while Mangual finished with 11 points and five rebounds off

Devils to a 49-45 win over Ramapo in non-conference action on Tuesday
evening. With the win, the
Devils improved to 6-3. FDU jumped out to a
19-10 lead with 10:04 gone by in the first half thanks to seven points from
Cerankowski and six from junior forward Courtney Young (Bayonne, NJ/Bayonne). After Ramapo cut it to 21-14 with
6:36 to go, the Devils ended the half on a 10-6 run to grab a 31-20 halftime
lead. The Roadrunners came
out hot to begin the second half, opening with a 12-5 run to cut the deficit
to 36-32 with 11:23 left to play.
The Devils built their lead back up to 40-33 with 8:05 to go but
Ramapo sliced into the advantage again, cutting it to 43-40 with 3:48
remaining. The Roadrunners would
then cut it to two points, 45-43, with 2:02 left but neither team would score
again until Cerankowski hit two free throws with 0:16 left to put FDU up

two free throws of their own to cut it to 47-45 with 0:08 to play but

CRUISE TO 60-34 WIN MADISON, NJ – Senior guard Emily Cerankowski (Easton, PA/Wind Gap) poured in a game-high 23
points to go along with six assists and five rebounds and the FDU defense
held King’s to 11 second half points as the College at Florham Devils
cruised to a 60-34 win over King’s on Satuday afternoon. With the win, the Devils improved to 5-3 (1-1 Freedom) while the
Monarchs dropped to 2-4 (1-1 Freedom). FDU started the game hot, jumping out to a 12-3 lead with 6:32
gone by as five different Devils scored. King’s responded with a 12-4 run over the next six
minutes to pull to within 16-15 with 7:49 left in the half. With the game tied at 21-21 with 4:22
to go, the Devils ended the half on an 8-2 run to take a 29-23 lead into
halftime. With the score 33-26 in favor of FDU with 16:43 left in the game,
the Devils ripped off a 21-1 run over the next twelve minutes to take a 54-27
lead. Cerankowski had seven
points while junior forward Danielle Michlovsky (Wind Gap, PA/Bethlehem Catholic) added six
points in the explosion. The
Monarchs scored six late points to reach double digits for the half but by

Ramapo beginning at 6 pm. December 3, 2008 BURKE’S 33 POINTS HELPS DESALES HOLD OFF FDU,
78-72 MADISON, NJ – Senior guard LeighAnne Burke (Philadelphia, PA/Archbishop Ryan) scored a
game-high 33 points to lead DeSales to a 78-72 win over the College at
Florham Devils in the Freedom Conference opener for both teams on Tuesday
evening. With the loss, the Devils dropped to 4-3 (0-1 Freedom) while the
Bulldogs improved to 4-1 (1-0 Freedom). DeSales got out to an 18-11 lead with 8:22 gone by in the first
half but the Devils came back with a 13-8 run over the next six minutes to
pull to within 26-24 with 5:37 to go.
Four different Devils scored in the run led by six points from
sophomore forward Shealyn Taggart
(Atlantic Highlands, NJ/Middletown South). From there though, the Bulldogs exploded with a 17-4 run
to close the half with a 43-28 lead. The Bulldogs held a 49-32 lead with 2:45 gone by in the second
stanza but that’s when the Devils made their move. FDU went on a 21-4 run over the next
eight minutes to tie the game at 53-53 with 9:15 left to play. Sophomore forward Danielle

PA/Bethlehem Catholic) scored eight points during the outburst. With the Devils holding a 62-61 lead
with 6:31 left, DeSales went on a 11-4 run to grab a 72-66 advantage with
2:19 remaining. FDU was able to
cut the deficit to three points, 73-70, with 1:19 to go but the Bulldogs made
their free throws down the stretch to escape with the victory. Michlovsky finished with 20 points and six rebounds while senior

JERSEY CITY MADISON, NJ – Junior forward Danielle Michlovsky (Wind Gap, PA/Bethlehem Catholic) had 22
points and 10 rebounds, senior guard Emily Cerankowski (Easton, PA/Notre Dame) finished with 19
points and five steals, and junior forward Courtney Young (Bayonne, NJ/Bayonne) had 14 points, eight
rebounds and seven assists to lead the College at Florham Devils to a 73-57
win over New Jersey City on Tuesday evening. With the win, the Devils improved to 4-2. FDU started the game on an 18-2 run thanks to five points apiece
for Cerankowksi and Young. After
the Gothic Knights cut it to 23-10 with 8:31 left in the first half, the
Devils closed the stanza on a 17-6 run to grab a 40-16 halftime lead. Cerankowski had seven points and
freshman forward Matil Mangual
(Westbury, NY/Clark) chipped in five points during the outburst. The Devils held a 52-28 advantage with 4:58 gone by in the second
half when New Jersey City caught fire and ripped off an 18-4 run over the
next eight minutes to close the gap to 58-48 with 7:48 to go. FDU went back ahead by 12 points,
60-48, with 4:49 remaining but the Gothic Knights didn’t give up as
they cut it to 61-54 with 1:49 left.
That was as close as they would get though, as the Devils knocked in

home with their Freedom Conference opener against DeSales beginning at 6 pm. November 22, 2008 DEVILS CRUISE PAST RUTGERS-CAMDEN, 83-44 NEW YORK, NY – Junior forward Courtney Young (Bayonne, NJ/Bayonne) had 17 points and eight
rebounds to earn All-Tournament Team honors as the College at Florham Devils
knocked off Rutgers-Camden, 83-44, in the Consolation Game of the NYU Tip-Off
Tournament on Saturday evening. With the win, the Devils improved to 3-2. The Devils jumped out to a 10-0 lead with 4:03 gone by in the
first half and after the Scarlet Raptors cut it to 14-7 with 13:54 left in
the first half, FDU closed the half on a 30-10 run to take a 44-17 lead into

College at Florham Devils were beaten by New York University, 76-47, in the
First Round of the NYU Tournament on Friday evening at the Coles Sports
Center. With the loss, the
Devils dropped to 2-2 on the season. The Violets jumped out
to an 18-4 lead with 6:57 gone by in the first half and never looked back on
their way to a 42-24 halftime advantage. The Devils were able to cut the deficit to nine, 23-14,
with 10:23 left in the half but could get no closer. The closest FDU was able to get in

in the first half thanks to seven points from junior forward Courtney

After the Eagles cut it to 17-14 with 11:41 left in the first half,
the Devils ripped off an 8-0 run over the next five minutes to grab a 25-14
lead with 6:46 to go. St.
Elizabeth didn’t go away however, ending the half on a 14-5 run to
close the gap to 30-28 heading into halftime. FDU opened the second half like they did the first, this time
starting with a 27-6 outburst to take a 57-34 lead with 10:22 remaining in
the game. Michlovsky keyed the
FDU run by pouring in 14 points while Cerankowski pumped in seven. The Devils kept up a 20-point lead,
64-44, with 3:20 to go when the Eagles made a run against the FDU second team

went 8-of-15, 2-of-4 from the three-point line, for a game-high 27 points to
lead the College at Florham Devils to their first win of the season, 79-55,
over Ramapo on Sunday afternoon in the Consolation game of the St.
Mary’s Tip-Off Tournament.
Cerankowski is now second in FDU history in career three-pointers made
(117), third in career field goals made (515), and third in career
three-point attempts (347). With the win, the Devils improved to 1-1. FDU opened up an 8-2 lead with 4:25 gone by in the first half and
after the Roadrunners cut it to 9-6, the Devils ripped off a 15-7 run over
the next eight minutes to grab a 24-13 lead with 7:47 to play in the first
half. Cerankowski had seven
points in the run for FDU.
Ramapo cut the deficit to nine points on two occasions but the Devils
went into halftime with a 38-25 advantage. The Devils started the second half just as strong, opening with a
21-15 spurt to take a 59-40 lead with 11:21 left in the game. Cerankowski and sophomore forward Shealyn

were knocked off by Susquehanna, 65-49, in their season opener on Saturday
afternoon in the St. Mary’s (MD) Tip-Off Tournament. With the loss, the Devils dropped to 0-1. FDU jumped out to a 12-5 lead with 8:12 gone by in the first half
thanks to six points from senior guard Emily Cerankowski (Easton, PA/Notre Dame). The Devils built their lead to as
high as eight points, 17-9, with 6:47 left in the first half but the
Crusaders went on a 13-5 run to tie the game at 22-22 with 1:06 to go in the
half. FDU got a jumper from
junior forward Danielle Michlovsky (Wind Gap, PA/Bethlehem Catholic) with 0:06 to play to give the
Devils a 24-22 halftime lead. It was all Susquehanna in the second half though, as they came
storming out with a 13-4 run to grab a 35-28 lead with 4:49 gone by. The Devils cut it to 35-32 a minute
later but the Crusaders responded with a 19-9 run over the next seven minutes
to grab a 54-41 advantage with 6:00 left in the game. FDU was able to close the gap to
eight, 54-46, with 2:58 left but could get no closer as Susquahanna held on
for the win. Cerankowski finished the game 7-of-20 for 18 points to go along
with six rebounds while Michlvosky added 12 points and 11 boards. With her
seven field goals, Cerankowski moved into fourth place in FDU history with

COACH MADISON, NJ - Jenn Noon has been named Interim Head Women’s Basketball Coach of the
College at Florham Devils by Director of Athletics Bill Klika, replacing Mike Eineker who left to become Head Coach at Ramapo. Noon has served as the top assistant for the Devils during the
previous four seasons, where she was involved in recruiting, scouting, player
development, and practice and game planning. During those four seasons, she
helped guide the Devils to three campaigns of 16 wins or more with postseason
berths in both the Freedom Conference and ECAC Metro Tournaments. Before coming
to FDU, Noon was an assistant coach at Dallas High School in Dallas, PA. A 2004 graduate of Rutgers University, Noon is also an assistant

74-65, IN ECAC SEMIFINALS MONTCLAIR, NJ – Senior guard Jessica Garrabrant (Denville, NJ/Morris Knolls) had 20 points and
11 rebounds to lead top-seeded Montclair State to a 74-65 victory over the
fifth-seeded College at Florham Devils in the Semifinals of the ECAC Metro
Region Tournament on Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Devils finished the season with a record of
18-11. The 18 wins are now the
most in school history. The Red Hawks opened the game hot, getting out to an 11-0 lead
with just five minutes gone by in the first half. Montclair took a 23-8 advantage with 8:01 remaining before
the Devils cut it to 23-14 with 5:51 to go thanks to four points from
freshman forward Shealyn Taggart
(Atlantic Highlands, NJ/Middletown South). Montclair came right back though, as they ended the half
on an 11-2 run to take a 34-16 lead into intermission. Montclair picked up right where they left off, as the increased
their lead to 43-20 with 16:36 left to play in the game. After the Red Hawks grabbed a 51-29
advantage with 12:46 left to play, the Devils made their move as the embarked
on a 17-2 run over the next 6:30 to pull to within 53-46 with 6:01

responded right away though, as the got their lead back up to 60-48 with 3:53
to play. FDU then made one last
surge, going on an 11-4 run to close to within 64-59 with 1:52 left thanks to
six points from sophomore forward Courtney Young (Bayonne, NJ/Bayonne) and five points from
Cerankowski. Unfortunately for
the Devils that was as close as they would get because the Red Hawks hit most
of their free throws down the stretch to earn a trip to the title game. Cerankowski finished with 24 points and nine rebounds while
Michlovsky added 10 points and 11 boards. Young chipped in 14 points for the Devils. Junior guard Marianne McGovern (Fair

58-51, IN ECAC QUARTERFINALS FARMINGDALE, NY – Junior guard Emily Cerankowski (Easton, PA/Notre Dame) poured in 16 points
while sophomore forward Courtney Young (Bayonne, NJ/Bayonne) added 13 points and 10 rebounds to lead the
fifth-seeded College at Florham Devils to a 58-51 win over fourth-seeded
Farmingdale in the Quarterfinals of the ECAC Metro Region Tournament on
Wednesday evening. With the win, the Devils improved to 18-10 and will move on to
play top-seeded Montclair State. The Devils jumped out to a 13-6 lead with just under eight minutes
gone by in the first half thanks to six points from sophomore forward Danielle
Michlovsky (Wind Gap,
PA/Bethlehem Catholic).
Farmingdale responded with a 12-6 run over the next five minutes to
cut the FDU lead to 19-18 with 7:32 remaining. It was then FDU’s turn to respond for a run as the
Devils exploded for a 12-3 spurt to grab a 31-21 lead with 3:18 to go. Cerankowski and Young each had four
points for the Devils in the run.
Farmingdale wouldn’t go away though as they closed the half on a
5-0 run to pull to within 31-26 going into the intermission. Farmingdale opened the second half by closing the lead to 31-29
but FDU responded with a 9-2 run to take a 40-31 lead with 13:51 left to play
in the game with five points coming from sophomore forward Kim Molaskey (Terryville, CT/Terryville). The Rams would again not go away as
the came back with an 8-0 run over the next four minutes to trim FDU’s
lead to 40-39 with 9:21 to go.
The Devils would turn up the heat one more time, responding with an
11-3 run to take a 51-42 advantage with 5:36 remaining as four different
players scored in the run for FDU.
Farmingdale would cut the lead to four points on two occasions (51-47,
4:39 and 53-49, 1:07) but could get no closer as the Devils sank their free
throws down the stretch to secure the win and a trip to the semifinals. Michlovsky finished with 10 points and six rebounds while senior
guard Kate Daly (South

Rarick (Ringtown, PA/North
Schuylkill) added 19 points, including 15-of-15 from the free throw line, to
lead DeSales to a 75-60 win over the College at Florham Devils in the Freedom
Conference Tournament Finals on Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the
Devils dropped to 17-10 while the Bulldogs improved to 24-3. DeSales will move on to play in the
NCAA Tournament while FDU will await a bid to the ECAC Tournament. With the game tied at
8-8 with just over seven minutes gone by in the first half, DeSales went on a
13-2 run over the next five minutes to grab a 21-10 lead with 7:46
remaining. Burke had 10 points
for the Bulldogs in the run. FDU
came right back though, embarking on a 14-7 run to close to within 28-24 with
0:18 left in the half. Junior
guard Emily Cerankowski
(Easton, PA/Notre Dame) matched Burke with 10 points of her own in the
spurt. DeSales got two foul
shots with 0:01 to go to take a 30-24 halftime lead. The Devils started the
second half strong, closing the deficit to 35-31 with three minutes gone by
thanks to five points from Cerankowski.
DeSales responded immediately however, going on an 8-2 run over the next
five minutes to take a 43-33 lead with 12:49 left in the game. The Devils closed to 43-37 with 10:53
to go but DeSales erupted for a 12-4 spurt to grab a 55-41 advantage with
5:42 remaining. FDU cut it to 10
points, 57-47, with 4:16 left but the Bulldogs hit their free throws down the
stretch to secure the NCAA bid. Cerankowski finished
with 26 points while sophomore forward Danielle Michlovsky (Wind Gap, PA/Bethlehem Catholic) had 14
points and five rebounds.

68-67 (2OT) thriller in Madison on January 12. DeSales got a measure of revenge when they knocked off FDU

guard Emily Cerankowski
(Easton, PA/Notre Dame) was named First Team All-Freedom Conference on
Thursday morning. Cerankowski is
averaging a team-high 18.1 points per game and pulling down 5.8 rebounds per
contest. She is also tied for
the team lead with 54 steals.
She ranks second in the conference in points per game, 10th
in rebounds per game, 14th in field goal percentage, 15th
in assists per game, sixth in free throw percentage, tied for seventh in
steals per game, eighth in three point field goal percentage, seventh in
three point field goals made per game and third in minutes played. Nationally, she is 36th in
points per game and 121st in free throw percentage. She has helped lead
the Devils to the Freedom Conference Tournament Championship Game for the
first time in school history and FDU’s 17 wins this season are tied for

DEVILS KNOCK OFF KING’S, 56-47 WILKES-BARRE, PA -
Sophomore forward Danielle Michlovsky (Wind Gap, PA/Bethlehem Catholic) scored 24 points and grabbed 15
rebounds to lead the College at Florham Devils to a 56-47 win over
King’s in the Semifinals of the Freedom Conference Tournament on
Wednesday evening. With the win, the
Devils improved to 17-9 while the Monarchs dropped to 14-12. The Devils will advance to the finals
against top-seeded DeSales, who knocked off Delaware Valley, on Saturday
afternoon. FDU also tied the
school record for most wins in a season with the 2005-06 squad. FDU jumped out to a
10-7 lead with 13:01 left in the first half thanks to six points from
sophomore forward Courtney Young
(Bayonne, NJ/Bayonne). The
Monarchs responded with a 9-2 run over the next five minutes to grab a 16-12
lead with 8:38 remaining. The
Devils battled back take a 21-20 advantage with 4:06 left but King’s
got a three-pointer on their next possession to take a 23-21 lead. The Devils then closed the half on a
6-0 run to grab a 27-23 lead heading into the break. King’s started
the second half on fire as they opened up with a 15-2 run to grab a 38-29
advantage with 15:28 left in the game.
Junior guard Kaitlyn Fiorino (North Brunswick, NJ/Immaculata) scored 12 of the 15 points
during the surge. The Devils did
not quit though, as they went on a 13-3 run over the next eight minutes to
grab a 42-41 lead with 7:19 to go.
Michlovsky had seven points for the Devils in the run. The Monarchs grabbed a 47-46 lead on
two Fiorino free throws with 3:45 remaining but that was their last lead as
FDU closed the game on a 10-0 run to grab the win and move into the finals. Junior guard Emily Cerankowski (Easton, PA/Notre Dame) and Michlovsky each
had four points while Michlovsky converted a huge three-point play with 0:54
remaining to give the Devils a 52-47 edge. Young finished with 15

WILKES, 71-27 MADISON, NJ – Sophomore forward Danielle Michlovsky (Wind Gap, PA/Bethlehem Catholic) poured in 33
points and pulled down 13 rebounds, both game-highs, to lead the College at
Florham Devils to a 71-27 win over Wilkes in Freedom Conference action on
Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Devils improved to 16-9 (7-5 Freedom) while the
Colonels dropped to 2-23 (1-11 Freedom). As a result of the FDU win and King’s beating
Delaware Valley, the Devils will be the third seed in the upcoming Freedom Conference
Tournament and travel to second seeded King’s. The Devils jumped out to a 20-13 lead with nine minutes gone by in
the first half thanks to 10 points from Michlovsky and eight points from
junior guard Emily Cerankowski
(Easton, PA/Notre Dame). From
that point on, the Devils ripped off a 15-0 run to end the half with a 35-13
advantage. Michlovsky added
seven more points during the half-ending run. It was more of the same to start the second half as FDU opened
with a 13-5 spurt to take a 48-18 lead with 12:25 left in the game. The Devils kept a lead in the forties
for most of the remainder of the game as they cruised to a victory. Cerankowski finished with 21 points and four steals while freshman

Senior guard Moira Donohue (Philadelphia,
PA/Cardinal Dougherty) scored 16 points to lead Delaware Valley to a 67-56
win over the College at Florham Devils in Freedom Conference action on
Tuesday evening. With the loss, the
Devils dropped to 15-9 (6-5 Freedom) while the Aggies improved to 13-11 (7-4
Freedom). Delaware Valley
clinched a berth in the upcoming Freedom Conference Tournament and the Devils
were able to do the same even with the loss. The Aggies started
strong, opening up a 20-8 lead with 10:05 left in the first half thanks to
buckets from five different players.
FDU was able to cut the deficit to 20-14 with 7:26 to go but Delaware
Valley ended the first half on an 11-2 run to grab a 31-16 halftime lead. Delaware Valley opened
the second half just as strong as they did the first half, this time going on
a 9-2 run to take a 40-18 lead with 16:45 remaining in the game. The Aggie lead hovered around 20
points for the next ten minutes with Delaware Valley taking a 56-35 lead with
7:03 left. The Devils responded
with a 15-5 run to pull to within 61-50 with 1:56 to go but Del Val
immediately got their lead back to 15 points (65-50) on the foul line. FDU was able to get to within 10
points, 66-56, with 0:32 remaining but it was not enough as the Aggies earned

added 11 points and 10 rebounds off the bench to lead the College at Florham Devils
to a 63-33 victory over Arcadia in Freedom Conference action on Wednesday
evening. With the win, the Devils improved to 15-7 (6-3 Freedom) while the
Knights dropped to 7-14 (4-5 Freedom). The Devils started out strong, opening up a 13-2 lead with 8:30
gone by in the first half thanks to four points apiece from junior guard Emily
Cerankowski (Easton, PA/Notre
Dame) and sophomore forward Danielle Michlovsky (Wind Gap, PA/Bethlehem Catholic). The Knights fought back to cut the
lead to 13-8 with 9:03 remaining but the Devils ended the half on a 17-4 run
to grab a 30-12 halftime advantage.
Cerankowski poured in seven points during the spurt. Arcadia started the second half by cutting the FDU lead to 34-17
with three minutes gone by but that was as close as they got as FDU responded
with a 16-6 outburst to grab a 50-23 lead with 6:52 left in the game. The run sealed a key conference
victory for the Devils. Cerankowski scored a game-high 15 points while adding six rebounds
and five steals. Senior forward Caitlin Sparks (Harleysville, PA/Souderton Area) had 10

DeSales beginning at 1 pm. February 5, 2008 MANHATTANVILLE MAKES LATE RALLY TO BEAT FDU, 58-53 PURCHASE, NY - Down
50-46 with 3:01 left to play in the game, Manhattanville closed with a 12-3
run to knock off the College at Florham Devils by a score of 58-53 in Freedom
Conference action on Tuesday evening. With the loss, the
Devils dropped to 14-7 (5-3 Freedom) while the Valiants improved to 9-10 (2-6
Freedom). The Devils jumped out
to a 6-0 lead with just under three minutes gone by in the first half but the
Valiants responded with a 10-2 run over the next four minutes to grab a 10-8
lead. FDU responded with a 13-5
spurt to grab a 21-15 lead with 7:43 remaining. Sophomore forward Danielle Michlovsky (Wind Gap, PA/Bethlehem Catholic) had seven
points in the outburst. The
Devils took a 25-19 lead into the intermission. FDU maintained their
six point lead, 33-27, with 14:15 left in the game but the Valiants went on a
15-10 run over the next eight minutes to pull to within 43-42 with 6:29
left. After Manhattanville again
cut it to one, 45-44, junior guard Emily Cerankowski (Easton, PA/Notre Dame) came down and drilled
a three-pointer to put the Devils up 48-44 with 3:38 remaining. Manhattanville then immediately cut
it 50-49, and that’s when they went on their game-ending run. FDU pulled to within 54-53 on an old
school three-point play by Michlovsky but that’s as close as they would
get as the Valiants escaped with the win. Michlovsky finished
with 16 points and eight rebounds while Cerankowski chipped in with 16
points, five rebounds and four steals.

home against Arcadia beginning at 6 pm. February 4, 2008 YOUNG NAMED TO FREEDOM CONFERENCE HONOR ROLL ANNVILLE, PA – Sophomore forward Courtney Young (Bayonne, NJ/Bayonne) was named to the Freedom
Conference Honor Roll on Monday morning after scoring at least 20 points in
both of FDU’s games last week. Young started the week on Wednesday when she finished with 20
points, seven rebounds and four steals in a 67-53 win at Wilkes. On Saturday, she had 24 points and
eight rebounds in a 73-67 home loss to King’s. On the season, she is averaging 12.0 and 6.3 rebounds per game for
the 14-6 Devils. Her efforts
have the Devils tied for second place in the Freedom Conference. February 2, 2008 KENDRA’S DOUBLE-DOUBLE LEADS KING’S
PAST FDU, 73-67 MADISON, NJ – Senior guard Lauren Kendra (Bellmawr, NJ/Gloucester Catholic) scored 15
points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead King’s to a 73-67 win over the
College at Florham Devils in Freedom Conference action on Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Devils dropped to 14-6 (5-2 Freedom) while
King’s improved to 11-9 (5-2 Freedom). The Monarchs raced out to an 11-7 lead with just under six minutes
gone by in the first half but the Devils responded with a 12-5 run over the
next six minutes to grab a 19-16 lead with 8:54 left in the half. Junior guard Emily Cerankowski (Easton, PA/Notre Dame) had six points for FDU
in the run. After the Devils
took a 24-23 lead with 4:12 remaining, King’s closed the half on a 9-0
run to take a 32-24 lead into the intermission. FDU was able to cut into the King’s lead in the openng
minutes of the second half, closing the gap to 39-35 on two Cerankowski free
throws with 14:39 to go. The
Monarchs were not deterred though, ripping off a 17-8 run over the next six
minutes to take a 56-43 lead with 8:09 left in the game. FDU came back with a quick 6-0 run to
cut the lead to 56-49 with 6:08 left with all six of the points coming from
sophomore forward Courtney Young
(Bayonne, NJ/Bayonne). The
Monarchs got the lead back to double digits, 63-53, with 3:29 left but the
Devils came back once again, this time going on a 5-0 run to pull to within
63-58 with 2:34 remaining. FDU
was not able to get over the hump though, as they closed the gap to five
points (70-65 and 72-67) on two other occasions but the Monarchs made their
free throws down the stretch to ensure the victory. Young led the Devils with 24 points and eight rebounds while
Cerankowski added 21 points.

Florham Devils knocked off Delaware Valley, 63-35, in Freedom Conference
action on Wednesday evening. With the win, the Devils improved to 13-5 (4-1 Freedom) while the
Aggies dropped to 7-9 (3-2 Freedom). Delaware Valley came out on first to start, as they hit three
three-pointers to take a 9-2 lead with just under four minutes gone by in the
first half. FDU immediately
responded with a 19-0 run over the next nine minutes to grab a 21-9 lead with
7:42 remaining thanks to six points from senior guard Kate Daly (South River, NJ/South River). After the Aggies cut it to 23-14 with
6:01 left, the Devils closed the half on a 6-1 run to take a 29-15 lead going

MANHATTANVILLE, 65-61 MADISON, NJ – Junior guard Emily Cerankowski (Easton, PA/Notre Dame) scored a game-high 18
points while freshman forward Shealyn Taggart (Atlantic Highlands, NJ/Middletown South) came
off the bench for 16 points and 11 rebounds as the College at Florham Devils
held off a late rally from Manhattanville to post a 65-61 win in Freedom
Conference action on Wednesday evening. With the win, the Devils improved to 12-4 (3-0 Freedom) while
Manhattanville dropped to 7-6 (0-2 Freedom). The Devils got out to a 13-9 lead with 12:55 left in the first
half as Cerankowski provided eight points. The Valiants responded with a 9-1 run over the next four
minutes to grab an 18-14 lead with 8:41 left. FDU came right back, ending the half on an 18-4 run to
take a 32-22 lead into the locker rooms. Taggart poured in seven points during the run. FDU upped their lead to 38-26 with just three minutes gone by in
the second half but Manhattanville erupted for an 18-6 run over the next five
minutes to tie the game at 44-44 with 12:17 remaining in the game. The Devils once again responded as
they took a 51-46 lead with 8:07 to go but the Valiants wouldn’t go
away as the made yet another run, this time a 13-5 spurt to grab a 59-56 lead
with 3:08 left. That’s
when junior forward Danielle Michlovsky (Wind Gap, PA/Bethlehem Catholic) came down and converted a
three-point play to tie the game at 59-59. After a minute went by with no scoring, Taggart converted
a three-point play of her own to give the Devils a 62-59 lead with 1:05
left. FDU made three out of four
foul shots down the stretch while holding the Valiants to only one bucket as

OVERTIME GIVES FDU 68-67 WIN OVER DESALES MADISON, NJ – Junior guard Emily Cerankowski (Easton, PA/Notre Dame) scored 17 points,
including the game winner with 0:01 left, and grabbed eight rebounds to give
the College at Florham Devils a 68-67 (2OT) win over DeSales in Freedom
Conference action on Saturday afternoon. After DeSales hit a three-pointer with 0:07 remaining in
the first overtime to grab a 64-62 lead, sophomore forward Danielle
Michlovsky (Wind Gap,
PA/Bethlehem Catholic) hit a jumper from the corner at the buzzer to tie it
up and send it to the second overtime. With the win, the Devils improved to 11-4 (2-0 Freedom) while
DeSales dropped to 11-3 (1-1 Freedom). The Bulldogs jumped out to an 18-10 lead with 12:47 remaining in
the first half but FDU responded with a 10-0 run to take a 20-18 lead with
5:36 left. Five different
players scored in the run for FDU.
The Devils pulled ahead, 26-22 with 2:44 to go but DeSales responded
by tying the game at 27-27 going into halftime. FDU came out on fire to start the second half, opening with a 14-3
run to grab a 41-30 lead with 13:52 left in regulation. Senior guard Kate Daly (South River, NJ/South River) drilled two
three-pointers in the spurt.
After the Devils grabbed their biggest lead of the game, 48-34 with
9:17 left, DeSales closed the game on a 20-6 run with the game-tying shot
coming from sophomore forward Caitlin Miller (Fogelsville, PA/Northwestern Lehigh) with
0:05 remaining. Miller scored
six points for the Bulldogs in the run. DeSales held the lead for the majority of the first overtime until
Michlovsky hit a lay-up with 0:37 left to give FDU a 62-61 advantage. The Bulldogs came back down and

(Philadelphia, PA/Archbishop Ryan) hit a three-pointer with 0:07 left to put
DeSales up 64-62. Cerankowski
got the ball and pushed it up the court, finding Michlovsky in the corner for
the tying jumper. In the second overtime, neither team scored until Burke hit a free
throw to put DeSales up 65-64 with 1:52 left. The Devils got a lay-up on their next possession from
sophomore forward Courtney Young
(Bayonne, NJ/Bayonne) to give FDU a 66-65 lead. Neither team scored until 0:10 left on the clock, when
junior guard Kim Rarick
(Ringtown, PA/North Schuylkill) hit a jumper at the free throw line to give
the Bulldogs a 67-66 lead.
Cerankowski again got the ball and pushed it up the floor, this time
hitting a runner in the lane to give the Devils a 68-67 victory. Michlovsky finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds while freshman

home against Manhattanville beginning at 6 pm. January 8, 2008 BALANCED EFFORT LIFTS DEVILS PAST ARCADIA, 70-44 GLENSIDE, PA – Four players scored in double digits, including
a game-high 18 points from junior guard Emily Cerankowski (Easton, PA/Notre Dame), to lead the College
at Florham Devils to a 70-44 win over Arcadia on Tuesday evening in the
Freedom Conference opener for both teams. With the win, the Devils improved to 10-4 (1-0 Freedom). Arcadia jumped out to a 13-5 lead with 11:05 left to play in the
first half but it was all FDU after that as the Devils tied the game at 20-20
with 6:06 remaining and then went on a 21-6 run to end the half with a 41-26
advantage. Freshman forward Shealyn
Taggart (Atlantic Highlands,
NJ/Middletown South) scored seven points in the run for FDU. It was more of the same in the second half as Arcadia cut the FDU
lead to 48-36 with 13:51 left in the game, but the Devils responded with a
17-4 run over the next ten minutes to grab a 65-40 lead to put the game
away. Cerankowski led the way
during the outburst with seven points. Taggart finished the game with 15 points and seven rebounds off
the bench while sophomore forward Courtney Young (Bayonne, NJ/Bayonne) had 13 points and nine

Tournament on Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Devils improved to 9-4. The Devils gradually built up a lead in the first half, taking a
13-5 advantage with 12:38 left in the half with six points coming from
sophomore forward Courtney Young
(Bayonne, NJ/Bayonne). FDU
grabbed a 20-6 lead with seven minutes remaining as Cerankowski scored five
the team’s next seven points.
Young hit a jumper with 0:03 left to give the Devils a 30-8 halftime
advantage. The Eagles cut their deficit to 13 points halfway through the
second half but could not get any closer as the Devils did not let up in
earning the tournament title. Young finished with 12 points, four rebounds and four assists

All-Tournament Team by Cerankowski and sophomore forward Kim Molaskey (Terryville, CT/Terryville). Virgo was also named to the team
