February 28, 2008 MCPHERSON NAMED SECOND TEAM ALL-CONFERENCE ANNVILLE, PA - Junior
guard Ryan McPherson (West
Orange, NJ/West Orange) was named Second Team All-Freedom Conference on
Thursday morning. McPherson was the team
leader in points per game (18.3), assists (60) and steals (44). He also was second on the team in
rebounds with 5.4 per outing. He
is the conference leader in points per game, ninth in rebounds per game, 11th
in assists per game, fifth in free throw percentage, sixth in steals, eighth
in three point field goal percentage, fourth in three points field goals made
per game and fourth in minutes played.
Nationally, he is 89th in points per game and 159th
in free throw percentage. February 23, 2008 KRESGE, DEROJAS LIFT WILKES TO 77-64 WIN OVER FDU MADISON, NJ – Sophomore forward Tom Kresge (Brodheadsville, PA/Pleasant Valley) had
game-highs of 28 points and 13 rebounds while freshman guard Chris DeRojas (Kingston, PA/Bishop O’Reilly) added 23 points
as Wilkes knocked off the College at Florham Devils, 77-64, in Freedom
Conference action on Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Devils finished the season with a record of
3-22 (2-10 Freedom) while Wilkes improved to 13-11 (7-5 Freedom). The Devils opened up a 15-12 lead with 8:59 reaming in the first
half with six points coming from freshman forward Danny Ciprut (Manalapan, NJ/Manalapan). The Colonels immediately responded
with an 11-2 run over the next 3:30 to grab a 23-17 with 5:12 to go. FDU cut the deficit to two, 25-23,
with 3:22 remaining but Wilkes closed the half on a 12-2 run to grab a 37-25
halftime lead. Wilkes opened the half by going on a 9-4 run to grab a 48-29 lead
with just 3:30 gone by. The
Colonels kept their lead at 19 points, 59-40, with 11:30 left in the game but
the Devils went on a 14-7 run over the next six minutes to pull to within
66-54 with 5:33 left. Freshman
center Ricky Fetske
(Galloway, NJ/Absegami) scored five points in the spurt for the Devils. Wilkes however, responded right away
by going on a 7-2 run to take a 73-56 lead with 3:46 to go. FDU cut the lead back to 11 on two
occasions but could not get any closer as the Colonels hit their free throws
down the stretch to seal the win. Fetske led the Devils with 23 points and 11 rebounds while junior
guard Ryan McPherson had
nine points and six rebounds. February 19, 2008 FETSKE LIFTS DEVILS PAST DELAWARE VALLEY, 85-79 DOYLESTOWN, PA -
Freshman center Ricky Fetske
(Galloway, NJ/Absegami) led five players in double figures with 25 points,
including a perfect 13-of-13 from the foul line, to lead the College at
Florham Devils to an 85-79 win over Delaware Valley in Freedom Conference
action on Tuesday evening. With the win, the Devils
improved to 3-21 (2-9 Freedom) while the Aggies dropped to 3-21 (0-11
Freedom). The Devils jumped out
to a 20-16 lead with six minutes gone by in the first half thanks to 13
points from junior guard Ryan McPherson (West Orange, NJ/West Orange). Delaware Valley responded with a 16-6 run over the next
6:30 minutes to grab a 32-26 lead with 7:35 remaining. The Aggies kept the lead at six,
38-32, with 3:40 to go before FDU cut the deficit to 40-39 with 1:10 left as
freshman forward Danny Ciprut
(Manalapan, NJ/Manalapan) scored four points in the run. The Aggies got two free throws with
0:28 left to take a 42-39 halftime edge. FDU came out strong to
start the second half, using the first ten minutes to go on a 24-10 run to
take a 63-52 advantage with 10:03 left in the game. Delaware Valley didn’t quit though, responding with a 16-2
outburst over the next three minutes to take a 68-65 lead with 6:44 to
go. The Aggies stretched their
lead to four points, 75-71, with 2:26 to play but the Devils ended the game
on a 14-4 run to grab the 85-79 victory. Fetske was the catalyst in the game-ending run, scoring
eight points for FDU. McPherson finished
with 13 points while Ciprut added eight points and nine rebounds. Freshman forward George Twill (Mendham, NJ/Mendham) had 15 points and seven
boards while junior forward Andrew Biancosino (Edison, NJ/JP Stevens) chipped in 15
points. Fetske also had seven
rebounds and three blocks.
Freshman guard Jason Goldheimer (Manalapan, NJ/Manalapan) led Delaware Valley with 17 points off
the bench. The Devils will conclude their season on Saturday, February 23,
2008, at home against Wilkes beginning at 3 pm. February 16, 2008 DEVILS DOWNED BY DESALES, 75-47 CENTER VALLEY, PA -
Sophomore guard Rob Schubach
(Center Valley, PA/Southern Lehigh) knocked in 14 points off the bench to
lead DeSales to a 75-47 victory over the College at Florham Devils in Freedom
Conference action on Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the
Devils dropped to 2-21 (1-9 Freedom) while the Bulldogs improved to 19-4 (9-2
Freedom). DeSales got out to a
15-5 lead with 7:18 gone by in the first half. The Bulldogs then grabbed a 29-14 advantage with 4:07 left
in the first half but the Devils went on a 9-3 run over the next 2:30 to pull
to within 32-23 with 1:51 remaining.
The Bulldogs scored the last bucket of the half though, to take a
34-23 lead into intermission. The Bulldogs started
the second half on fire, opening with a 22-9 run to take a 56-32 lead with
10:51 left to play in the game.
DeSales kept their lead in the twenties for the remainder of the game
on their way to the win. Freshman forward Danny

Delaware Valley beginning at 8 pm. February 13, 2008 FOUR PLAYERS IN DOUBLE-DIGITS NOT ENOUGH AS DEVILS
FALL TO ARCADIA, 83-77 MADISON, NJ – Four players scored in double-digits led by 26
points and 15 rebounds from freshman center Ricky Fetske (Galloway, NJ/Absegami) but it wasn’t enough
as the College at Florham Devils fell to Arcadia, 83-77, in Freedom
Conference action on Wednesday evening. The Devils dropped to 2-20 (1-8 Freedom) while the Knights
improved to 10-12 (4-5 Freedom). FDU jumped out to a 10-9 lead with five minutes gone by in the
first half thanks to five points from junior forward Andrew Biancosino (Edison, NJ/JP Stevens). Arcadia responded with a 17-4 run
over the next 6:30 to take a 26-14 lead with 9:30 remaining. FDU came back with a run of their
own, a 14-4 outburst, to pull to 30-26 with 1:04 to go. Junior guard Ryan McPherson (West Orange, NJ/West Orange) had seven points
in the run for the Devils. The
Knights scored with 0:06 left in the half to take a 35-30 lead into the
locker room. The Knights came out hot to start the second half, opening with an
18-7 run to grab a 53-37 lead with 15:06 left in the game. After Arcadia took a 64-52 lead with
7:33 to go, FDU went on a 7-0 run over the next minute to cut the deficit to
64-59 but Arcadia came right back to take a 72-61 advantage with 5:11 to
play. The Devils cut the lead to
six points on two different occasions (72-66 and 74-68) before the Knights
again stretched their lead to double-digits, 80-70, with 0:37 to go. FDU pulled to within four points but
Arcadia hit their free throws down the stretch to ensure the win. McPherson poured in 17 points while Biancosino and freshman
forward Danny Ciprut
(Manalapan, NJ/Manalapan) added 12 points apiece. Junior guard Bobby Mulholland (Wildwood, NJ/Wildwood) led Arcadia with 25

DeSales beginning at 3 pm. February 5, 2008 DEVILS FALL TO MANHATTANVILLE, 81-55 PURCHASE, NY - Senior
guard Donte Chisolm (Mount
Vernon, NY/St. Raymond) scored 25 points on 9-of-10 shooting to lead
Manhattanville to an 81-55 win over the College at Florham Devils in Freedom
Conference action on Tuesday evening. With the loss, the
Devils dropped to 2-19 (1-7 Freedom) while the Valiants improved to 14-6 (6-2
Freedom). Manhattanville jumped
out to a 12-9 lead with 4:30 gone by in the first half and then embarked on a
12-0 run over the next four minutes to grab a 24-9 lead with 11:12 remaining. The Devils didn’t quit though,
answering with an 11-3 run to pull to within 27-20 with 6:44 left. Junior guard Ryan McPherson (West Orange, NJ/West Orange) had nine points
on three three-pointers during the run.
The Valiants closed the half strong however, ending with an 11-7 spurt
to grab a 38-27 halftime advantage. The Valiants came out
hot to open the second half, using the first ten minutes to go on a 27-2 run
to take a 65-29 lead which put the game out of reach. McPherson led the
Devils with 21 points while freshman center Ricky Fetske (Galloway, NJ/Absegami) had 16 points and

home against Arcadia beginning at 8 pm. February 2, 2008 DEVILS TOPPED BY KING’S, 97-54 MADISON, NJ – Senior center John Soboleski (Ashley, PA/Hanover Area) scored 17 points and
pulled down six rebounds to lead King’s to a 97-54 win over the College at
Florham Devils in Freedom Conference action on Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Devils dropped to 2-18 (1-6 Freedom) while the
Monarchs improved to 11-8 (4-3 Freedom). King’s jumped out to a 13-2 lead with just under five minutes gone
by in the first half but the Devils went on a 6-2 run over the next two
minutes to cut it to 15-8 with 13:00 remaining. Junior guard Ryan McPherson (West Orange, NJ/West Orange) had four points
for FDU during the run. The
Monarchs responded with a 26-6 run over the next eight minutes to take a
41-14 lead with 4:55 left in the half.
King’s entered the halftime break with a 47-24 lead. FDU cut the deficit to twenty points, 49-29, just two minutes into
the second half but that was as close as they would get as King’s went on an
18-8 run to grab a 67-37 lead with 12:58 to go to put the game away. McPherson led FDU 16 points while freshman center Ricky Fetske (Galloway, NJ/Absegami) added 10 points. Senior guard Jamie Cousart (Holland, PA/Holy Ghost Prep) and freshman

Wilkes to a 79-54 win over the College at Florham Devils in Freedom
Conference action on Wednesday evening. With the loss, the
Devils dropped to 2-17 (1-5 Freedom) while the Colonels improved to 10-7 (5-1
Freedom). Wilkes started the
game strong, opening up 22-8 lead with just under eight minutes gone by in
the first half. The Devils
responded with an 8-1 run over the next two minutes to close the gap to 23-16
with 10:07 remaining. Freshman
center Ricky Fetske
(Galloway, NJ/Absegami) contributed four points during the run for the
Devils. The Colonels responded
immediately though, going on a 16-7 run to take a 39-23 advantage with 1:38
left on their way to a 39-25 halftime lead. The Colonels were
strong again to start the second half, opening up a 55-29 lead with 13:56
left in the game. Wilkes kept
their lead in the twenties for the remainder of the game on their way to a

against King’s for Alumni Day beginning at 3 pm. January 23, 2008 FRESHMEN LEAD DEVILS TO FIRST CONFERENCE WIN,
77-72, OVER DELAWARE VALLEY MADISON, NJ – Four freshmen scored in double figures led by 13
points and 13 rebounds from freshman center Ricky Fetske (Galloway, NJ/Absegami) as the College at
Florham Devils knocked off Delaware Valley, 77-72, to pick up their first
Freedom Conference win of the season on Wednesday evening. With the win, the Devils improved to 2-16 (1-4 Freedom) while the
Aggies dropped to 1-15 (0-5 Freedom). Delaware Valley got out to hot start, taking a 10-0 lead just
three minutes into the game. The
Devils came back to cut the deficit to 21-16 with 8:39 left in the first as
six different players scored for FDU.
The Devils then went on a 8-3 run to tie the game at 24-24 with 4:52
remaining thanks to five points from freshman forward Danny Ciprut (Manalapan, NJ/Manalapan). The Devils were never able to take
the lead though, as Del Val took a 31-29 lead into halftime. After Ciprut got a bucket to make at the 14:39 mark to make the score
39-37 in favor of the Aggies, FDU went on a 17-5 run over the next five
minutes to grab a 54-44 lead with 9:56 left in the game. Freshman guard George Twill (Mendham, NJ/Mendham) had eight points during
the spurt. The Devils increased
their lead to 63-50 after freshman guard Jared Neff (Danbury, CT/Warren Harding) hit a
three-pointer and converted a three-point play but the Aggies did not give up
as they embarked on a 23-8 run to pull to within 73-71 with 0:58
remaining. That’s when the FDU
defense tightened up, allowing only one free thrown by Del Val the rest of
the way to earn the victory. Ciprut finished with 14 points and eight rebounds off the bench
while Twill added 14 points and six boards. Neff chipped in 11 points, five rebounds and four assists
off the bench. The Aggies were

College at Florham Devils fell to King’s, 74-58, in Freedom Conference action
on Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the
Devils dropped to 1-16 (0-4 Freedom) while King’s improved to 9-6 (2-1
Freedom). FDU jumped out to an
8-4 lead with 13:37 left in the first half thanks to four points from
freshman guard George Twill
(Mendham, NJ/Mendham). After the
Monarchs cut it to 9-6 just a minute later, the Devils went on a 16-9 run
over the next six minutes to take a 25-15 lead with 6:17 remaining. Junior forward Andrew Biancosino (Edison, NJ/JP Stevens) had five points during
the spurt. The Monarchs
responded immediately though, by exploding for a half-ending 16-2 run to take
a 31-27 lead into the locker rooms. The Devils came out to
start the second half on a 7-3 run and tied the game at 34-34 on a
three-pointer from McPherson.
King’s ripped off a quick 7-0 run to grab a 41-34 lead with 15:53 but
the Devils came back and cut the deficit to 44-41 with 13:07 left on another
three-pointer by McPherson. From
that point on though, King’s stretched their lead to double-digits (60-50)
with 5:18 left in the game and never looked back as they made their free
throws down the stretch to earn the win. Twill finished the
game with 12 points while King’s was led by 15 points and 11 rebounds by

FDU, 80-73 MADISON, NJ – Senior guard Brian Fink (Queens, NY/St. Francis Prep) scored 20 points
to lead four players in double figures as Manhattanville knocked off the
College at Florham Devils, 80-73, in Freedom Conference action on Wednesday
evening. With the loss, the Devils dropped to 1-15 (0-3 Freedom) while the
Valiants improved to 10-4 (2-0 Freedom). The Devils came out hot to start the game, opening up an 11-4 lead
with just over four minutes gone by in the first half. After Manhattanville cut the Devil
lead to 18-15 with 10:03 left in the game, FDU went on a 7-2 run over the
next three minutes to grab a 25-17 lead with 7:35 remaining. Fink hit a three-pointer for the
Valiants with 3:16 left to bring his team to within 30-26 but the Devils
responded with a 7-0 run to take their biggest lead of the game, 37-26, with
1:52 left. Manhattanville came right back though, ending the half with a 5-0
run to cut the FDU lead to 37-32 at intermission. FDU again started a half strong, this time using a 6-1 run to open
up a 43-33 lead with just over a minute gone by. Once again Manhattanville fought back, this time going on
an 8-0 run to cut the Devil lead to 43-41 with 17:02 remaining. The Devils were not deterred though,
as they got their lead back up to 50-41 thanks to four points from junior
guard Ryan McPherson (West
Orange, NJ/West Orange). That’s when
Manhattanville took over, going on a 17-5 run over the next six minutes to
take a 58-55 lead with 9:32 left in the game. The Devils cut it to 58-57 but Valiants again made a huge
run, this time an 18-8 outburst to take a 76-65 lead with 1:54 to go. Manhattanville made their free throws
down the stretch to earn the seven point win. McPherson led the Devils with 20 points and nine rebounds while
freshman guard George Twill

King’s beginning at 3 pm. January 14, 2008 ARCADIA MAKES LATE RALLY TO BEAT FDU, 64-61 GLENSIDE, PA - Arcadia
used a 9-2 run over the last 1:17 to turn a 59-55 deficit into a 64-61 win
over the College at Florham Devils in Freedom Conference action on Monday
evening. With the loss, the
Devils dropped to 1-14 (0-2 Freedom) while Arcadia improved to 5-7 (1-1
Freedom). FDU jumped out to a
15-7 lead with 10:43 remaining in the first half thanks to eight points from
junior guard Ryan McPherson
(West Orange, NJ/West Orange).
The Devils then grabbed their biggest lead of the game, 26-14, with
6:52 left in the first half with McPherson again leading the way with five
points. Arcadia responded
immediately though, going on an 18-5 run to grab a 32-31 lead heading into
intermission. Five different
players scored for the Knights in the run. The Devils started the
second half on a 15-6 run to take a 46-38 lead with 12:10 left to play. Arcadia responded again though, going
on an 11-2 run over the next eight minutes to grab a 49-48 lead with 4:44 left. The Devils weren’t deterred however,
going on an 11-6 run to grab the 59-55 lead with 1:17 remaining. That’s when the Knights went on their

points for Arcadia. McPherson finished
with a game-high 22 points to go along with six rebounds and five

DESALES TO 73-60 WIN OVER FDU MADISON, NJ – Four players scored in double digits, including 15
points from sophomore guard Darnell Braswell (Allentown, PA/William Allen), as DeSales
knocked off the College at Florham Devils by a score of 73-60 on Saturday
afternoon in the Freedom Conference opener for FDU. With the loss, the Devils dropped to 1-13 (0-1 Freedom) while
DeSales improved to 12-1 (2-0 Freedom). The Bulldogs got out to a 16-6 lead with six minutes gone by and
then opened up a 30-17 lead with 6:26 left in the first half. FDU immediately cut into the 13-point
deficit, by going on an 11-0 run over the next four minutes to cut the
DeSales lead to 30-28 with 2:49 left in the half. Junior guard Ryan McPherson (West Orange, NJ/West Orange) had five points
in the run for FDU. The Bulldogs
closed the half with an 8-3 run though, to take a 38-31 lead into halftime. DeSales opened the second half strong, going on a 13-5 run over
the first five minutes to grab a 51-36 advantage. FDU cut it to 53-45 with 12:55 left in the game on a
three-pointer by McPherson but DeSales immediately went on a 14-3 run over
the next five minutes to take a 67-48 lead. The Devils cut the deficit to 11 points on two different
occasions but could not get any closer as the Bulldogs earned the win. McPherson finished with a game-high 24 points while senior forward

as the College at Florham Devils were knocked off by USMMA, 91-86, on Monday evening. With the loss, the
Devils dropped to 1-12. FDU jumped out to a

USMMA responded right away with a 18-3 run over the next 4:30 to grab
a 33-26 lead with 5:56 left in the half. The Devils were not deterred however, as the closed the
half on a 13-5 run to grab a 39-38 halftime lead. Freshman center Ricky Fetske (Galloway, NJ/Absegami) had five points in the
run. After FDU grabbed a
45-40 lead to start the second half, the Mariners exploded for a 24-8 run to
take a 64-53 lead with 10:12 remaining in the game. Once again the Devils responded, this time with a 12-2 run
to pull to within 66-65 with 7:58 left.

Freedom Conference opener beginning at 3 pm. January 5, 2008 MCPHERSON’S 33 POINTS NOT ENOUGH AS DEVILS FALL TO
SWARTHMORE, 89-84 SALEM, VA – Junior guard Ryan McPherson (West Orange, NJ/West Orange) scored 33 points
and pulled down six rebounds but the College at Florham Devils fell to
Swarthmore, 89-84, in the Consolation Game of the Roanoke Tournament on
Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Devils dropped to 1-11. FDU jumped out to a 10-5 lead with just under five minutes gone by
in the opening half thanks to seven points coming from freshman center Ricky
Fetske (Galloway,
NJ/Absegami). Swarthmore then
went on a 17-6 run over the next five minutes to grab a 22-16 lead with 10:06
remaining in the first half. The
Devils tied the game at 25-25 with 8:31 left but Swarthmore ripped off 9-2
run to take a 34-27 lead with 5:21 left. FDU immediately went on an 8-1 run, with four points
coming from McPherson, to pull to 36-35 with 1:28 remaining. Swarthmore closed the half with a
bucket and three free throws to take a 41-37 lead into intermission. Swarthmore opened the second half strong, jumping out to a 54-44
lead with four minutes gone by.
FDU cut it to 56-52 just two minutes later but Swarthmore responded

point on, FDU went on a 26-11 run to pull to within 83-81 with 0:36 left in
the game. McPherson scored 13

Unfortunately for the Devils, they could not get over the hump as
Swarthmore made their free throws to ensure the victory. Fetske finished with 14 points and was named to the All-Tournament

ROANOKE BY A SCORE OF 72-60 SALEM, VA – Freshman center Ricky Fetske (Galloway, NJ/Absegami) had 13 points and 12 rebounds
but it wasn’t enough as the College at Florham Devils lost to Roanoke, 72-60,
in the opening round of the Roanoke Tournament on Friday evening. With the loss, the Devils dropped to 1-10 on the year. Roanoke took a 26-20 advantage with 10:36 left to play in the
first half, Fetske scoring 11 of the 20 FDU points in the opening
minutes. Roanoke got their lead
up to 11 points, 36-25, with 4:33 remaining before the Devils scored six of
the last eight points of the half to cut the deficit to 38-31 at intermission. The Maroons came out in the second half and opened up an 18-point
lead, 64-46, with 8:39 left in the game. The Devils were able to cut the lead to 10 points (66-56
at the 4:27 mark and 68-58 with 3:33 left) but were unable to get any closer
as Roanoke held on for the victory. Freshman guard George Twill (Mendham, NJ/Mendham) scored a team-high 14 points with junior
guard Ryan McPherson (West
Orange, NJ/West Orange) had 11 points and nine rebounds. Freshman forward Danny Ciprut (Manalapan, NJ/Manalapan) chipped in 10 points

Ouedraogo (Newark, NJ/Newark
Science) added 17 points and 16 rebounds to lead William Paterson to a 77-51
win over the College at Florham Devils on Wednesday evening. With the loss, the
Devils finished the first semester with a record of 1-9. The Pioneers jumped
out to a 21-8 lead with eight minutes gone by in the first half thanks to
nine points from senior guard Jason Cameron (Cliffside Park, NJ/Cliffside Park) and eight
points from Ouedraogo. The
Devils responded with an 8-0 run to cut the deficit to 21-16 with 7:47
remaining in the half with six points coming from junior guard Ryan
McPherson (West Orange,
NJ/West Orange). William
Paterson then went on a 20-6 run to end the half with a 41-22 lead. Five different Pioneers scored in the
outburst. FDU cut the lead to 17
points, 41-24, just a minute into the second half but that was as close as
they would get as William Paterson kept the lead in the twenties for the rest
of the game. McPherson finished
with 24 points and six rebounds for FDU while freshman center Ricky Fetske (Galloway, NJ/Absegam) added 11 points and

DECISION TO HUNTER NEW YORK, NY - Junior
guard Ryan McPherson (West
Orange, NJ/West Orange) scored a game-high 30 points and pulled down 10
rebounds, senior forward Milton LaCroix (Atlanta, GA/Centennial) finished with 12 points and 11 boards
and freshman center Ricky Fetske
(Galloway, NJ/Absegami) added 15 points and 12 rebounds but it wasn’t enough
as the College at Florham Devils dropped an 83-76 decision to Hunter on
Monday evening. With the loss, the
Devils dropped to 1-8 on the season. Hunter jumped out to a
17-11 lead with seven minutes gone by in the first half thanks to nine points
from senior guard Gerald Ciarleglio (Bradenton, FL/Cardinal Mooney). FDU fought back to tie the game at 23-23 with 9:15
remaining on a free throw by Fetske but Hunter responded right away and went
up by five points, 29-24, with 7:02 left in the half. The Devils then went on a 9-3 run
over the next six minutes to grab a 33-32 lead with 1:36 left. After the game was tied, 36-36, the
Hawks hit a free throw with 0:13 remaining to take a 37-36 halftime
advantage. The Devils opened up
the second half by taking a quick lead, 40-38, just 1:30 in the stanza. The teams traded the lead for the
next three minutes before Hunter opened up a six point edge, 56-50, with
12:27 left to play. FDU
responded immediately though, going on a quick 6-0 run to tie the game with
Fetske putting in four points.
The Devils took a 70-68 advantage with 5:51 left on a basket by
McPherson but the Hawks exploded for a 15-4 run over the next five minutes to
take an 83-74 lead which virtually ended the game. Junior guard Michael Dodd (Jamaica, NY/Hillcrest) scored six points in
the run for the Hawks while freshman guard Malcolm Kelly (Jamaica, NY/Christ the King) added five
points. Dodd finished the game
with 26 points while junior forward Frantz Millen (Rockland, NY/North Rockland) had 16 points
and 13 rebounds. The Devils return to action on Wednesday, December 12, 2007, at
William Paterson beginning at 7 pm. December 8, 2007 MCPHERSON, FETSKE LEAD DEVILS TO FIRST WIN OF THE
SEASON MADISON, NJ – Junior guard Ryan McPherson (West Orange, NJ/West Orange) scored 28 points
and grabbed nine rebounds while freshman center Ricky Fetske (Galloway, NJ/Absegami) finished with 18
points and 11 boards to lead the College at Florham Devils to their first win
of the season, a 66-61 victory over City Tech on Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Devils improved to 1-7. FDU jumped out to a 10-5 lead with just under eight minutes gone
by in the first half thanks to six points from Fetske. After the score was tied at 25-25
with 3:03 left in the first half, the Devils ripped off a 7-0 run to take a
32-25 lead with 0:28 remaining as McPherson poured in five points. The Yellow Jackets got a
three-pointer on their final possession to make the halftime score 32-28 in
favor of FDU. The Devils opened up the second half strong, building a 39-30 lead
with two minutes gone by. City
Tech responded right away though, going on a 13-3 run over the next nine
minutes to take a 43-42 lead with 9:46 left in the game. Sophomore center Ian Sowell (Brooklyn, NY/Bishop Laughlin) scored 10
points in the outburst for City Tech.
The Devils tied the game at 50-50 with 5:04 remaining and from that
point on, FDU made a 14-6 run to grab a 64-56 lead with 0:16 left in the
game. McPherson and Fetske were
the catalysts in the game-winning run as they scored six and four points,
respectively. The Devils made
their foul shots down the stretch to ensure their first win of the season. Junior forward Andrew Biancosino (Edison, NJ/JP Stevens) chipped in 10 points
and seven rebounds for the Devils while the Yellow Jackets were led by 17
points and 11 rebounds from junior forward Ryan Phillip (Brooklyn, NY/Nazareth). The Devils return to action on Monday, December 10, 2007, at
Hunter beginning at 6pm. December 4, 2007 WHITMAN CARRIES MORAVIAN PAST FDU, 67-59 MADISON, NJ – Senior forward Eric Whitman (Blairstown, NJ/Notre Dame East Stroudsburg)
scored 19 points, including 5-of-9 from three point range, to lead Moravian
to a 67-59 win over the College at Florham Devils in non-conference action on
Tuesday evening. With the loss, the Devils dropped to 0-7 on the season. After the Greyhounds jumped out to a 9-6 lead at the 13:22 mark,
Moravian went on a 13-2 run over the next six minutes to take a 22-8 lead
with 7:48 left in the first half.
Whitman had eight points in the spurt. The Devils battled back though, finishing the half on a
15-4 run thanks to seven points from senior center Milton LaCroix (Atlanta, GA/Centennial) to go into the
intermission down by a score of 27-23. Moravian opened up a seven point lead, 32-25, with just a minute
gone by in the second half but the Devils responded with a 15-7 to take their
first lead of the game, 40-39, with 12:45 left in the game. Junior guard Ryan McPherson (West Orange, NJ/West Orange) was the spark
plug in the run, scoring nine points for FDU. The teams then traded the lead with the Devils holding a
44-43 advantage with 8:48 remaining, but the Greyhounds erupted for a 22-7
run over the next seven minutes to take a 65-51 lead with 1:04 left in the

had seven points and Whitman added six during the game clinching run. FDU got the deficit back down to
eight points on two occasions but could not get any closer. McPherson scored a game-high 24 points fro the Devils while
LaCroix finished with 14 points and a game-high nine rebounds. Freshman center Ricky Fetske (Galloway, NJ/Absegami) added 13 points and
seven rebounds off the bench.

OVER FDU, 75-66 MADISON, NJ – Sophomore forward James Shinn (Jackson, NJ/Monsignor Donovan) had 20 points and
nine rebounds off the bench to lead Lebanon Valley to a 75-66 win over the
College at Florham Devils on Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Devils dropped to 0-6. The Devils started out strong, taking a 9-2 lead with two minutes
gone by thanks to six points from sophomore guard Matt Kittner (Bogota, NJ/Bogota). FDU led 13-9 with 12:53 left in the first but the Dutchmen
then went on a 17-0 run over the next six minutes to grab a 26-13 lead with
6:56 remaining in the half.
Shinn had six points in the spurt. The Devils cut the deficit to eight points, 31-23, with
3:33 left but Lebanon Valley closed on a 8-2 run to take a 39-25 lead into
intermission. Leb Val increased their lead to 19 points, 53-34, with 13:57 left
in the game but FDU responded with a 15-2 run over the next five minutes to
cut the lead to 55-49. Kittner
had five points in the run while junior guard Ryan McPherson (West Orange, NJ/West Orange) and senior
