MADISON, NJ - Senior pitcher
Adam Garry (Freehold, NJ/Freehold Boro) broke the All-Time FDU record for career pitching appearances after he tossed 0.2 innings of relief in Game Two at DeSales on Saturday afternoon.
The outing was his 54th career appearance out of the bullpen, breaking the previous mark of 53 set by
Greg Warger (2004-07). Garry has been FDU's primary left-handed specialist out of the pen for the last three seasons. He made eight appearances as a freshman, 16 as a sophomore, 20 as a junior, and 10 so far this season as a senior. His 16 appearances as a sophomore ranks tied for third All-Time in single-season appearances while his 20 outings as a junior places him tied for first All-Time in single-season appearances with Warger.
Garry and the Devils begin their quest for a Freedom Conference Championship on Wednesday, May 5, 2010, at home against Manhattanville beginning at 3:30 pm.
