ANNVILLE, PA - Senior Meghan Droge (North Merrick, NY/Kellenberg) was named the Volleyball Scholar Athlete for the Middle Atlantic Conference on Thursday afternoon.  The award goes to a senior with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher that has also excelled on the playing field.

Droge was a four-year starter at right side for the FDU-Florham Devils and was twice named Second Team All-Freedom Conference.  An English major with a cumulative 3.78 GPA, Droge was also a three-time member of the Middle Atlantic Conference All-Academic Team.

She was named the College at Florham's Woman of the Year at the New Jersey National Girls and Women in Sports Day and she is also a part of many groups around the FDU campus.  Those groups include serving as the President of the English Honor Society, contributing as a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), being a Resident's Assistant (RA) and working in the Sports Information Department.
