ANNVILLE, PA - Sophomore pitcher Glenn Cox (Nutley, NJ/Nutley) was named Freedom Conference Pitcher of the Week on Monday afternoon after his dominating performance in a 6-1 win over Misericordia on Friday afternoon.

In the game, Cox tossed a complete game nine innings and allowed only one run on seven hits while striking out seven.  He induced four double plays and only faced serious adversity in the eighth inning when the Cougars scored their lone run.

On the season, he is 5-0 with a 3.43 ERA with 27 strikeouts in 39.1 innings pitched.
