Michlovsky Dominates As Devils Crack Triple Digits in 100-28 Win

MADISON, NJ - Senior forward Danielle Michlovsky (Wind Gap, PA/Bethlehem Catholic) scored a career-high 34 points to go along with a career-high nine steals, nine rebounds and seven assists to lead the College at Florham Devils to a 100-28 win over New Rochelle in non-conference action on Thursday evening.
With the win, the Devils evened their record to 9-9 on the season.
After the Blue Angels took a 4-2 lead shortly into the game, the Devils ripped off a 19-2 run to take a 21-6 lead with 12:01 left in the first half. It was all smooth sailing from there, as FDU took a 30-point halftime edge, 42-12, en route to the victory.
Junior forward Shealyn Taggart (Atlantic Highlands, NJ/Middletown South) recorded 12 points and nine rebounds, freshman guard Samantha Savona (Jackson, NJ/Liberty) had 12 points, five assists and five steals, and sophomore forward Matil Mangual (Westbury, NY/Clarke) chipped in 11 points and five boards off the bench.
The Devils return to action on Saturday, January 30, 2010, at home against Wilkes beginning at 1 pm.
