MAHWAH, NJ - Freshman midfielder
Joshua Corpuz (Randolph, NJ/Randolph) scored four times to lead the College at Florham Devils to their first win of the season, a 6-1 rout of Berkeley College in the Ramapo Tournament on Saturday afternoon.
With the win, the Devils improved to 1-1.
Corpuz started the FDU scoring at the 22:40 mark and junior forward
Duncan Swanwick (Basking Ridge, NJ/Gill St. Bernards) made it 2-0 just 1:16 later. Corpuz gave the Devils a 3-0 advantage just 1:03 before halftime. Freshman midfielder
Manny Almeida (Elizabeth, NJ/Union Catholic) opened up the scoring in the second half when he found the back of the net 7:39 into the second stanza. Berkeley made it 4-1 four minutes later but Corpuz scored two more goals to make sure the Devils would come away with the win.

Kevin Herbert (Whippany, NJ/Whippany Park) picked up the win, making one save.
The Devils return to action on Sunday, September 6, 2009, for the second day of the Ramapo Tournament against Lehman beginning at 1 pm.
