Jaclyn Corseri (Portsmouth, RI/Portsmouth RI) set the FDU women's 6k record with a time of 23:58.27 breaking the previous record of 25:48.40 at the Stevens Invitational on Friday afternoon.
WOMEN - The FDU women finished third out of eight teams in the Invitational. Other than Corseri, junior
Gabrielle Michalak (Mt. Laurel, NJ/Bishop Eustace) came in 14th place in a time of 27:09.40 while freshman
Lindsay Messina (Whippany, NJ/Whippany Park) placed 17th (27:35.30).
MEN - The men finished eighth out of 11 teams and were led by Scott. Senior
Yrv Laurent (Willingboro, NJ/Willingboro) placed 37th in a time of 32:27.62 while senior
Bryan Danzi (Towaco, NJ/Montville) came in 39th (32:56.75).
The Devils return to action on Saturday, October 10, 2009, at the DeSales Invitational beginning at 10 am.
