MADISON, NJ - Freshman midfielder Joshua Corpuz (Randolph, NJ/Randolph) scored two goals in 0:53 to give the College at Florham Devils a 3-1 win over Johnson & Wales in non-conference action on Wednesday afternoon.

With the win, the Devils improved to 7-2.

Freshman midfielder Manny Almeida (Elizabeth, NJ/Union Catholic) started the scoring just 0:23 into the game and the Devils held that lead throughout the first half.  The Wildcats tied it at 1-1 at the 55:21 mark but Corpuz came in off the bench to score at 65:37 and again at 66:30 to seal the win for FDU.

Junior goalkeeper Kevin Herbert (Whippany, NJ/Whippany Park) started and played the first half, allowing no goals and making two saves.  Freshman goalkeeper Tim Kirk (Pompton Lakes, NJ/Pompton Lakes) picked up the win, allowing one goal and making four saves while playing the second half.

The Devils return to action on Wednesday, September 30, 2009, at Gwynedd-Mercy beginning at 7 pm.
