SCOTT, CORSERI STAND OUT AT BARUCH INVITATIONAL

BRONX, NY - Junior Ian Scott (Franklin, NJ/Walkill Valley) finished first in the men's race with a time of 31:08 while junior Jaclyn Corseri (Portsmouth, RI/Portsmouth) came in third on the women's side in a time of 28:16 at the Baruch Invitational on Sunday morning.
MEN - The Devils finished sixth out of the 13 teams competing thanks to Scott's performance. Senior Bryan Danzi (Towaco, NJ/Montville) came in 45th in a time of 36:11 while senior Yrv Laurent (Willingboro, NJ/Willingboro) placed 47th (36:30).
WOMEN - Corseri led the Devils to a fifth place finish out of 12 squads while junior Gabrielle Michalak (Mt. Laurel, NJ/Bishop Eustace) came in 14th in a time of 30:34. Freshman Lindsay Messina (Whippany, NJ/Whippany Park) placed 38th (34:25).
The Devils return to action on Friday, September 25, 2009, at the Stevens Invitational beginning at 4 pm.
